Yeah, she's either trying to cut a deal or she's just enjoying the fresh air and yanking LE around. I wouldn't put money on one or the other right now.

Perhaps EB has offered a reason why she can't remember 'exactly' where Zahra is....drugs?, darkness?(all these little roads look alike in the dark), shock? (she just witnessed a murder), terror? (AB threatened her life unless she helped) ? ? ? ?...

We do not know that the serious medical conditions did not exist. Her daughter testified that she did have lupus ..... which may or may not have been true, but without more information I'm hesitant to assume that she was able to work.

Lupus (to the best of my recollection) is forever, the symptoms come and go - if EB was suffering from a severe form or chronic condition her "disability" would be obvious to family and friends.

The most common symptoms include:

- 'butterfly' rash (rash on the face/cheeks that has a butterfly shape)
- fever
- malaise
- scaly, discolored skin lesions
- pleuritis (inflammation of the lining surrounding the lungs) or pericarditis (inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart)
- anemia
- oral or nasopharyngeal ulcers
- non-erosive arthritis
- psychosis without a clear cause
- photosensitivity skin rash (like the red blush some people get from alcohol or just a routine bumpy, rash)

Most of the other symptoms can be explained by inflammation of the blood vessels and connective tissue.

So either she does not know where Zahra is, or she is pulling a Misty...

Why can't this child be found??? This is craziness. I thought for sure she would be found in the first two or three days.

Legal aliens can be claimed just like anyone else, if they have green cards they have almost the same rights as a citizen.

This is why I believe that Z & AB are here illegally, do you think if EB could have recieved more $$ from the government she would turn it down? Just my :twocents: of course.

ETA- I should have worded my post differently, I just re-read it. Should have said illegally VS non-resident.

Thank you. I just read over her "recent work", and what scares me the most is... on some MSM sites (cnn.com is the last one I can remember), comments are reading that EB was forced by police into giving the statement that she wrote the ransom note.
(I would link if I could but it's impossible to link to scrolling comment pages.)

I already see this woman's work coming to the table.
This is frustrating.

I agree. I'm picturing the questioning as going like this -- EB definitely has a very very short fuse. I saw her angrily yank her arm away when the woman cop was trying to help her into the car when she was arrested. She didn't seem angry until someone touched her, and then I saw the anger come out of nowhere. I'm thinking that cops kept questioning her and maybe even goading her a bit which ticked her off so, in her enraged state, maybe said, "Ok, I wrote the damn note, all right?"

Just my guess.

Is she taking them to different places under the disguise of saying "I don't know where HE put her .... but it could be here .... or here .... or here..... "

Gah I rarely feel rage toward these people but she makes me want to SCREAM.

Or she was so drugged out stoned that night maybe.

On Monday, Elisa Baker led investigators to three locations, police confirmed to Channel 9. On Tuesday morning, police blocked off an approximately two-mile stretch of Christie Road in Caldwell County and began searching there. The area is about seven miles away from where investigators searched on Monday.

WTH? Either she knows or doesn't where Zahra is. This whole leading LE to multiple search sites thing has me confused.

I love it if we had someone on here who could read lips! I'd love to know what she was saying at the time of her arrest!

Christie Road does not appear to be very long, I doubt if the entire road is much more then 2 miles. The only little dead end turn off that I see is Ekard Place and it appears to lead to a cell tower. I wonder if LE can check records to see if and when AB or EB's phone pinged this tower?

perhaps the Death Penalty lawyer of hers has had a "commin' to Jesus meeting" with her... over what she could be facing. Perhaps there is a secret plea deal going on that we are not privy to at this time?

just thinking out loud....

On the lupus, my best friend has it and basically think if sever arthritis to where you couldn't get out of bed and eventually possibly hip replacement surgery.

Just my guess.

They probably had something else handwritten and compared the two..from there the questioning was:
LE: We know you wrote that note.
LE: produces evidence to show her how they know
bada-bing bada-bam; she admits to it.

Yeah, I watch too much CSI and Law and Order.

Sounds exactly like the Victoria Stafford case.....:(

and then there is this tclox!:

On Tuesday, sources told WBTV that Elisa Baker was removed from her jail cell early Monday and was taken to various search areas with police. Officials say that Baker never got out of an SUV that she was riding in for the tour of future search areas.

****so her junket yesterday was to tour the areas they would be searching. And she is out again today*****

where was the search site near the textile mill again something shoals rd? TIA

I'm sorry everyone but it is looking to me more and more that the woodchipper was used and they scattered the remains from that woodchipper all over the place. Cleaned up the woodchipper with something. The gasoline in the vehicle was probably used to cover up a spill of something they used to clean the woodchipper with. If they threw away the mattress two days before they called 911 they had plenty of time to cover up.
