[h=1]Prosecutor, Montville P.D. Still Hoping to Find Missing Man[/h]
Thursday marks the 33[SUP]rd[/SUP] anniversary of the disappearance of the man, Edward DuBarry, then in his mid-thirties, from Montville, said the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. The office, in a statement said police and DuBarry's family remain hopeful he will be found "notwithstanding the passage of time."

It said DuBarry was last seen Sept. 7, 1984. The life-long Montville resident, was last seen near Church Lane and Two Bridges Road in the Towaco section of the township, according to the prosecutor's office. "At the time, he was driving a 1974 white Chevrolet pick-up truck," said the office. It said the truck was found a week later at Resort Point on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware Water Gap.
Investigators determined DuBarry’s credit card was used to pay for a room at the Howard Johnson Hotel at 551, Route 211 East, in Middletown, N.Y. on the day DuBarry was last seen, said the prosecutor's office. It said the card was also used twice more on that day, once at the Columbia Truck Stop at 2 Simpson Road in Columbia and again at Bartco Penn Petroleum, 10 Stella Street in Matamoras, Pa. The card was also used four days later, on September 11, 1984 at the Pompton Plains Shell in Pompton Plains, said the prosecutor.

The credit card transactions start Friday Sept 7th by Two Bridges, then goes west to Columbia (Sept. 7th), then north to Matamoras (Sept. 7th), then to Middletown (Sept. 7th). The time of day were not specified in the article except the hotel in Middletown being in the evening.

Given the gas mileage of a 1974 truck it seems to make sense that they were done in that order assuming there were no cash purchases.

Four days later (Sept. 11th) the credit card is used in Pompton Plains and his truck is found in Water Gap Friday Sept 14th.
