I've been going through a list of 16 Polish citizens missing in the U.S. from a website that Cubby posted on another thread:

I've come up with a couple of interesting possibles from this list for other UID cases. Here's another, which seems to match pretty closely to this Hoboken NJ Jane Doe.

The timeframe is a little long, but her DLC is indicated as 01-Jan-2002. Using the first day of the year as a DLC might suggest that they don't know her exact DLC.

* Her height (just under 5'5") is right. Jane Doe's height is listed at 5'4"
* Her eye color (brown) is right.
* Her age (about 23-24 at time of Jane Doe's death) is at the low end of Jane Doe's age range.
* She appears to be the right approximate weight.
* She is listed as having last been seen in Tennessee. This would explain the cowboy boots in New Jersey.
* She bears a pretty good resemblance to the Jane Doe.

I sent e-mails both to Donna Fontana, and Aleksander Wejman of the zaginieni.pl Polish Missing Persons organization regarding the possible match of Stella Nawrocka to this Jane Doe.

I found Stella Nawrocka listed as a friend or caregiver on an obit dated 2010.

Since I submitted KH and heard back that he had last written his family in 1986 even though ITAKA lists his DLC in 1976, I wonder if many of these MP's listed as missing abroad have simply lost contact with their families in Poland.

We might need to educate ITAKA on using veromi, or other US search engines to assist in determining current locations of anyone who possibly lost contact with their family after emmigrating to the US.

I also paid a couple bucks to get a PeopleSmart report on Stella.

I received her birthdate, two telephone numbers, a current address in Sevierville TN, and four other former addresses. I forwarded it all to Aleksander Wejman of ITAKA.

Veromi.net and WhitePages.com are better for free searches.

Searching straight from PeopleSmart's homepage is not very effective. However, the search results from WhitePages.com include PeopleSmart results below the WhitePages results. If you find something from in the PeopleSmart results and want to find out more (e.g., addresses, DOB, etc.), you have to plop $1.95. A complete report is more expensive, but the $1.95 report is usually enough for our purposes.

I know it is not a really close match, but is there any possibility that it could be Patricia Viola? I did not see Patricia on the "rule out" list, although Hoboken is not too far from Bogota.

they have added one new name (three times) so it looks like they now have 25 names when in reality they have 23. the new name is

Since I still think Kimberly Macintosh is a viable possible match, I found an email address for the Greene County Tennessee Sheriff's Dept. and sent them an email about Kimberly. Basically I asked if they had any contact with family who might be able to get dentals or give a DNA sample otherwise if she's deceased, she'll never be identified without them.
