Borough and state police and Monmouth County sheriff's officers searched the Shark River Sunday and Monday for a missing Lake Como man.

Family members reported 56-year-old Mark Ritter missing Sunday afternoon, police said. His car was found at the Belmar Marina.

The sheriff's office's Maritime Emergency Response Team and K-9 Unit, NJSP Marine Unit and Aviation Bureau, Belmar First Aid and Belmar Department of Public Works responded to the marina along with police, police said.

The search was suspended at 6 p.m. Sunday and resumed 8 a.m. Monday, police said.

ETA The video shows a date of 2016. A picture description shows 2017.

No idea if this could be Mark, but investigators from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office were on the scene.

I am not gonna link the fb page but I am hopeful that Mark has been located.

The facebook page of someone with the same name, same state and other coincidences to the Mark Ritter missing person...has a gap in posting from 2016 - 2019.

I will try to research more later as I was slightly triggered by a map post.
