And at last HERE is the link to the LVMPD Warrants redacted (276 pages). Let me know if you`re unable to open the link or see anything that needs correction. Sorry for the delay.

Question: who here thinks the charges against Doug Haig are what the federal grand jury was all about?
Are there still further charges being persued ? Is there another POI?

Thanks for redacting the documents for us, kdg. :rocker:

The more I thought about sadly I think this was the "it".

Big deal huh!

Humm interesting :

The examinations were completed by Oct. 5, two days after the last victim was pronounced dead. The document ruled that many of the victims had been shot in the head, chest or back.

The ME officer was still on lockdown on the 16th when a reporter tried to enter the public building. More than interesting huh?

The black vase, and flowers were of interest according to the search warrants. They had a warrant JUST for the black vase and fake flowers. That's weird to me. The only thing I can think of now concerning those flowers, MAYBE he was going to put them in the hallway and have the camera in them?

Well from what i am hearing and seeing and reading . And i am by no means fluent in legalalese...... The document we saw against Haig was a criminal "complaint". It was not an "indictment", which we would see in the case of a federal grand jury.

Somebody correct me if i am wrong.

Armour piercing hadn't much to do with LV shooting.. just the tanks..
BUT what the hell are they going to be doing about the child *advertiser censored*?
Where was he getting that nad was he a buyer or a seller?

Good question...all of the electronic evidence was seized (supposedly) by the FBI and sent via private plane to Quantico for analysis. So could it be a red herring? Or perhaps we`ll hear that this `event` was very fluid and facts are still subject to change. JMO

Other questions..didn`t LE locate the car MD was thought to be driving? Where is the warrant for that vehicle because it too was owned by SP. Did LE acquire a warrant for the 3 rooms at The Ogden SP stayed in? SP also had a home in Reno, was it searched? I`ve only seen the warrants for Mesquite, NV.

Sort of O/T: Here's a fascinating factoid about Styrofoam, from Wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Styrofoam

...In 2015, researchers discovered that mealworms, the larvae form of the darkling beetle Tenebrio molitor, could digest and subsist healthily on a diet of EPS, commonly referred to as "Styrofoam" colloquially.[14] About 100 mealworms could consume between 34 and 39 milligrams of this white foam in a day. The droppings of mealworm were found to be safe for use as soil for crops...

Cool.

Styrofoam is also used as insulation. Maybe he intended to use the styrofoam ball to protect something from the heat generated by the guns? I've got no idea what SP would want with flowers, or a vase.

As far as I remember the warrants for the flowers and ball were later than others simply because investigators did not recognise them as being his for a few days, they originally thought they were part of hotel decor.
It's documented in more recent warrant batch unsealed. Linked by kdg a few posts down..
possibly used to disguise his head at window if he was peering out for air or to drop the lengthy snorkel tube..he could have done that with a bundled up towel tho, so most likely was for trolley with cctv in corridor. makes me wonder why he did not wire that trolley to an explosive device with a tripwire to give himself more time to kill more people.. he could have done same with stairs, it's not like he cared who he killed..

This is the most concise walk-through of the federal criminal process I could find.

It sounds like either a complaint or an indictment can be used to kick things off.

Acording to the following, we are between steps 2 and 4. But IANAL.

Haig, 55, appeared in court Friday and was released on his own recognizance with specific conditions not spelled out in court proceedings. He is due in court again February 15 for a preliminary hearing.

Respectfully snipped ^.

This is such a disturbing thought! Why kill, if you don't care who you kill? GIves me shivers it's so cold.

it is extremely disturbing.
if he had shot and killed Campos and his telecommunications equipment at the outset, he would have had more time to kill many more people, probably, possibly?

He appears to have done very strange things, like the tiny padlock on stairs door..like all of it.. disjointed and ill thought out..
while some aspects were meticulously planned..his rehearsals..his research..

And he apparently stopped killing a full hour before he needed to..

there was a short window of time when the phrase 'the biggest mass shooting in modern America' held a degree of shock impact..
..then it ceased..
too soon, too soon by far..
looks as though the machine took over, the denial machine.

Since Fudenberg was ordered to release all 59 reports and didn`t could he be held in contempt for violating a federal judge`s order? Where are these heavily redacted reports on the 58?

I reviewed the LV Coroner webpage and got a bit purturbed, for lack of a better word. I don`t recall seeing a coroners page anywhere selling items like a gift shop.

I had a search upon reading your tweet, thought DOJ would have something

They only had this from Feb2

Saw this on the budget report that kdg411 linked. Not sure if this is worth a look.

‘A contract totaling $22,120,011 with the Department of Aviation for police services at the Airport will offset expenditures in that budget unit.’

Also saw this:
‘The Vision of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is for the Las Vegas community to be the safest community in America.’

....in America

I've been reading the FIT report and just thinking about this tragedy. In my opinion, something is seriously off about the events of that night and the investigation following. I'm not even going to start with all the inconsistencies in that report because so much of it just doesn't even make sense. As I read the report though I couldn't help but think about the absolute terror that the people in the village must've been feeling. And regardless of how badly I think the police and hotel dropped the ball and have lied for whatever reason, I can't even imagine what the officers going up to the 32nd floor must've been feeling. Unless everything was planned beforehand, they had no clue if the entire building was about to blow up or if they would be shot and killed. Yes there are corrupt police all across this country. But it really made me think about the officers who risk there lives to protect others. This case is just beyond bizarre and in my opinion there is a way bigger picture than what is being presented to the public. The people who were hurt or killed that night deserve to know the truth

So any ammunition that meets those construction requirements and can be fired from a handgun is legally considered armor piercing. It is legal to buy and possess armor piercing ammunition, but it is illegal to sell armor piercing ammunition. That means you can have it, but nobody can sell it to you.
https://www.quora.com/Is-it-legal-to-buy-armor-piercing-ammunition

I'm not a researcher tonight. I haven't checked to see what the quora site is or how legit it is. But I'm laughing at the above quote... it's legal to OWN armor piercing ammo, but no one can sell it to you. What a strange law..

At any rate, I was attempting to define armor piercing. It seems the original meaning was ammo that could pierce warships. At some point it became more defined, and many types of ammo could be classified as armor piercing. Confused? So am I! I don't know anything about the different ammos available. I can tell a handgun ammo from a shot gun. I have friends that load their own ammo, and I know my Dad use to load his for hunting, but that was so many decades ago.

Anyway, I don't find the charges against Haig suspicious or whatever work might apply. In the course of the investigation, his name was on an Amazon label on a cardboard box in the hotel room. Of course they would need to investigate who he was, why there was ammo in a box with his name, etc. They then discovered he sold ammo from his home to many people. He didn't have the proper legal ability to do that. They interviewed various people that stated they had bought the armor piercing ammo from Haig. Thus, IMO, they should charge him.

Don't know if you saw this? It came out before thread 9 opened. It is not about the shootings but about Fudenburg witholding autopsy reports un-related to this case.

Budget: Nice find, interesting read.

I don't agree with the obvious deception or hiding of evidence here, but researching this is really a big waste of time.....the truth will never be revealed, its another JFK or 9/11

JFK was supposedly shot by a lone gunman also....hhhhmmmm

My money is still on terrorism here.....possibly ISIS.....I think they are afraid to reveal that because there would be widespread panic if the public found out how easily a terrorist group could pull this off.....also, it would embarrass the LVPD and FBI

just my 2 cents

Will not believe SP had anything to do with this until a PHOTO OF HIM or a VIDEO OF HIM is released that CLEARLY shows him being on the hotel property that day, or in the hotel room on that day...sorry but I don't believe that guy on the hotel floor is him dead...looks nothing like him....

I have been to Mandalay Bay 20 times or more.....

the minute you set foot inside the Mandalay Bay you are captured on 100's or 1000's of video cameras, there are no hiding places....no way to be out of camera to get to your room.....what is so hard about releasing these videos???

sorry, but I ain't buying any of the police or government issued nonsense until i see PROOF SP was there....because to this day there has been NONE!

Why not release a simple video of him walking through the lobby?....or the casino???....because there is none, thats why!!
