I wonder if hIS DNA has been run through CODIS yet. No way he hasn't committed any crimes before. IMO
He has lived in hotels and stayed off the grid for a reason.

LA TIMES STORY....MUST READ
“He would glare down at her and say — with a mean attitude — ‘You don’t need my casino card for this. I’m paying for your drink, just like I’m paying for you.’ Then she would softly say, ‘OK’ and step back behind him. He was so rude to her in front of us.”

Well, well, well.....appears Mr. Just-a-guy was also quite an abusive jerk!! Now I'm thinking she left because he was abusive or at least controlling with money. (Opinions welcome.)

I think he sent her away. He probably gave her the $100k, maybe not in her account, because of her connection to him and potentially losing it, but as a parting gift (kind of like leaving it in a will). It seems he was generous with his family, although he was not physically near them, and probably not emotionally near them, either. Possibly gifting them money, and an easy lifestyle, was his way of showing them he cared?

I guess we should all just do our bit to play by the rules...After all most of the mods are volunteers doing their bit in spare hours...it's not like there is a WS media department chasing down every link once it's posted. Various MSM has media departments and that's how they can and do verify a source...and that's why WS runs better if posters fish about a bit to see if a MSM source exists. It makes threads flow much better if posts (and associated comments) are not deleted just because of a random You-Tube link instead of a MSM source.

The problem is that the rules seem to change all the time. From my experience YouTube videos are usually allowed, especially when it's video that has been used in multiple MSM.

Someone was asking about this earlier:

Though the police initially cleared Marilou of any involvement in Sunday night's shooting, on Tuesday, Sheriff Joe Lombardo called her a "person of interest" in the investigation again at a briefing in Las Vegas.

It's possible that she holds some pieces of the puzzle. I don't know if she's guilty of anything, or not, but she has to have more knowledge about him, at this stage in his life, than anyone else.

Yes, often You-Tube videos are kosher, but it's usually when the content is innocuous and just providing background rather than breaking-news content. For example in the case of the two murdered teens in Delphi, there were dozens of pre-dated home-videos that were posted here showing bridge crossings, walk-overs and drone captures...but this is a different type of content than the live footage of a crime taking place and the distinction is important. Unfortunately, some unscrupulous weirdos have been known to cash-in on tragedies like this and that gives some a motive to fabricate the kind of 'feet-on-the-ground', sensational footage just to generate clicks etc...
MSM does its bit to weed-out the fakes from the real thing but a stand-alone You-tube video has no such scrutiny as to its authenticity.
IMO.
PS: not trying to be argumentative here but I have seen a few cases where some pretty dubious videos have been posted that have really tainted the direction a thread takes for all the wrong reasons.

Flabbergasted and maybe not in his right state of mind JMO. He needs to stop talking tho bc him talking for 33 min straight about how wealthy and intelligent the killer was isn’t coming across the right way when 58 victims are dead and so many injured. He doesn’t seem in his right state of mind and should prob avoid the press moving forward. He’s not helping make his brother seem more human, he’s actually doing exactly the opposite for me. I am only speaking for myself of course.

This guy knows more about his brother and guns than he let on. He caught himself a few times. You can bet the FBI is taking their time talking to him for a reason.

I'm way behind on the thread so I apologize if these have already been discussed/answered....

If they had so much money, why did wife work at that hotel? I find that suspicious. How on earth was he able to use her ID and secure the room in her name, etc while she's in another country? Noone checked ID on check in? This hotel failed everyone.

Which country was she in? I've seen Philippines, Asia, Australia passport.

I don’t see the big deal with having all of those guns. I am anti gun, but plenty of people on WS have talked about how many guns they have.

This guy was rich. Lived high off of the hog. 40guns? So what.

Bomb making materials? Why would she guess anything about that? Are people familiar with bomb making materials?

If they rarely lived at the house, and he kept them in one room, she may not have ever known they were there. If he had a good sized gun safe, or even just stored them under the bed or in the closet. (It happens more than you'd think, that s/os have no clue what's in the house). It's said he had tannerite, too. Tannerite is usually in a container that reads Rifle Targets or Exploding Targets. If you aren't familiar with Tannerite, and what it can do, look in YouTube for "1/2 pound of tannerite vs fridge". That's just a half pound. When I saw he had Tannerite, I wondered what he decided not to do, or didn't have time to do. But it wouldn't be something that she would necessarily know what it was.

Maybe his wealth was through ill-gotten gains, and the gambling was his way of laundering money, and he got wind something might be coming down on him soon, so he decided to go out big?

I hate to bring up the Starbucks convo (I have no reason to call everyone a liar or attention seking, some things just might be true), but every time you order somethung they ask your name and write it on the cup. They would know their names if they frequent there. They even know their orders.

I wouldn’t think anything of fertilizer like MSM reported was found in his car. However I’d be suspicious/curious about so many firearms if I knew about all of them. According to neighbors there was a safe the size of a fridge in their garage. I’d be curious what was in it and would make my SO open it for me to see what’s inside. But maybe they had a “don’t ask questions” policy. It wouldn’t be the first or last couple to not ask questions if it doesn’t directly effect them at the time. Ignorance is bliss.

This is true. However, there's usually a good chance, if you can't have the key to a padlocked room, or have the combo to a safe, that LE will be busting your door down, at some point in the relationship.

I would guess she worked there before they married. She certainly did not need to work. She was traveling in Asia, at the time. I think the reports conflict on which country she was in. One report I saw, said Japan, but who knows.

From what I’ve read, she is an Australian citizen (was married at one time to an Australian), visiting family in the Philippines. The earliest reports said she was in Tokyo and I wonder if she was en route back home when the massacre happened. I don’t know how one flies to and from the Philippines. But early reports are often wrong IMO.

He had the gloves on for sure. Daily mail has a photo of the room with his body in it. Body has black gloves on. I don't think he forgot anything. This was planned meticulously.

Yep, saw the gloves, but he did forget the fire alarm.

I was doing a little research. I don't know if it has been mentioned, but do any of these high rise hotels have "glass breakage sensors"? With all the technology available: cameras, card coded entry systems, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide sensors and probably a whole host of gizmos I can't even imagine.... just thinking outside of the box. I'm not sure it would have helped to identify the room any faster than the smoke alarms did. (Link is to a video on how they work)

Perhaps we will hear more about them in the future? Btw, finally watched the video by the taxi driver.... sobering reality, to say the least. ugh. Good night and thank you to all the hospital workers who are caring for the injured.

-My post was a news article based on the investigation. ‘He was wearing a glove probably for the smoking hot barrel’

Yes, and I agree. I saw, in the photos that he had gloves. Ya'll are hung up on the gloves, maybe it was one of the other things, I mentioned, or maybe he tried to grow a conscientious all of a sudden, or, maybe we'll never know. Why do you think he stopped?

Can anyone please explain the FOX bumper on the bottom here at the beginning??

WTH??

TIA

No words.

Shooter had cameras OUTSIDE of room to film LE responding according to Sheriff Lombardo as well as inside his room. How could they be that inept not to see him putting up cameras outside of his room with all the surveillance that exists in Las Vegas.

Miniature wireless CCTV cameras are readily available at very low cost and don't need cabling and transmit straight to a receiver and can be monitored on a phone or laptop. They can be "installed" in seconds.

Oh, I agree with everything in your post. But in shooting for that long, and that firearm reaching such temps, using the Bump Stock, combined with the fact that this was not a "fit" man, I can see where he'd have to take a break, or at his age, have forgotten his eye protection, or left his gloves in the car.

Or maybe by then the crowd had scattered and he had little chance of hitting anyone else at that distance.
