I think this was posted before, but if not...

"Casinos like Mandalay Bay “spend millions and millions of dollars on security,” said a surveillance expert who helped install an early version of Mandalay Bay's security systems after it opened in the 1990s. The system he installed had close to 1,200 cameras, and he guesses Mandalay Bay has about 3,000 cameras now.

“They’re all recording 24/7. Anybody who walks through that door is an asset. They’re going to take care of their assets,” said the expert, who declined to be identified because of concerns of future litigation.

But hallways can be difficult for security cameras to capture — they might be too long or too dark to show what's actually happening — so hotels instead put cameras on bottlenecks like elevator banks. “Typically they want to see who’s coming onto the floor and off the floor, and they can tell now who goes into rooms with the keycards,” the expert said."

Yes that's why I said main entrances and elevators. At the very least they should be able to provide the comings and goings of the shooter and who he is with. Moo

Even when there is already a system in place?
Usually you buy the Dvr recorder which is one cost the dome cameras
Admittedly it's a huge property so you could be right.
But seriously. As if the money isn't there? Lol moo

But the world seems to forget they never said they dont have him on video

never

they said they are not discussing what he did since he was seen gambling the night before

there is a huge difference

of course they have him on video there is debate that the casinos all loaded with the cameras

they are just not gonna to release who was engaging with -- I don't think they will ever ber able to release that info

that would reveal his partners imo

Some members of the media were at the Route 91 Festival, including the Country writer Mark Gray of Rolling Stone. His review can't have been anything he'd imagined writing in a million years --

"Get down, stay down." Those are the words that I'm hearing as gunshots are ringing out around me. Just moments before, I was listening to Jason Aldean sing "When She Says Baby" during his set at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.

In the beginning, it sounded like two firecrackers going off.

I was standing outside suite 5, directly across from Mandalay Bay on the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip, when the noise began. Two of my friends felt a ricochet of something. "What was that?" one friend wondered as she reached down at her leg. "My leg stings." The other said, "I just felt something, too." A girl near me started screaming hysterically.

Then, there was about 30 seconds of silence and confusion and then pop, pop, pop, pop. And then more pop, pop, pop, pop. Aldean and his band fled the stage and the music stopped.

I ran into the suite with about 40 other people. Some people got behind a refrigerator. Most people got on the ground. I was one of those people on the ground.

People started pouring through the door looking for safety. People started climbing through the windows........(more)"

Every account I've heard says the same thing. Every video I've seen I've heard this firecracker sound. And the sound is never heard again during this shooting. I'd be very interested to know what the acoustics analysts have to say about it because IMO it doesn't fit in.

How was he "running about the hotel with access to places for staff"? Awhile back it appeared a misunderstanding over club cards that then morphed into his girlfriend worked there and he had an employee ID card. Is that what you're referring to? If so, it's not based on any known facts.

That was another thing they got all messed up. She never worked there she worked at a i at a different place !!

I suppose hotel staff could have given him one but she was never an employee

so if he had a employee ID thing that would have to be given by someone who was employed or management .

I would think that employees have running about the hotel with access to places for staff"

I dont think that could be a conspiracy theory because I would assume staff badges give em them access to staff areas only

Therefore, if the employee ID is accurate we would have to have an employee giving up his or her Id

I might guess that could happen with a hefty tip

that is not a CT it is known how a solid a tip can get one almost anything !!

You wouldn't have any idea if someone was there as it was happening if they were filming themselves? I've seen a lot of it. People filming themselves hiding in bus shelters. People filming themselves inside the Bellagio at the same time as the shootings are happening. Not sure how you could fake that. Jmo

If these people truly believe there were others involved, by broadcasting their proof on the internet, their names, their faces, they're putting their lives at risk a second time. Doing so suggests they feel safe --- because they know the sole shooter is already dead. JMO

I think it was a first "experimental" shot probably using a different gun, by the same person who later switched guns and rained down.

If I was at a music festival, laid back, having a good time and I heard that sound, at first I'd rationale it to be firecrackers or fireworks as well. Wouldn't you? How many of us immediately recognize gunfire? Were the first two shots at the fuel tanks I wonder?

No way he was working alone. Of course, video isn't being released. It's like putting all your cards on the table. They're playing bluff. Trying to suss out others. Not dishonest. Trying to pull others out. I think that's the same reason the timeline has been f'd up. They tried an incorrect narrative to try to get a "bite". To see if something would surface.

What's even more interesting is it's like it was almost fed to us something might be amiss with SP. You know, the Eric interview that he hopes they find a brain tumour. Now suddenly all of this hype around his brain. moo

I don't think it's hype. With no known motive, they pretty much have to address it, leave no stone unturned.

Really? I'd think schizophrenia..

I am just speculating not making any diagnosis

just speculating

I am wondering schizoaffective disorder

they are super hard to dx tho.

It depends on what timing in their cycle you see them.

If you first encounter them when them when they are in the depressed cycle it leans toward major depression or bipolar in depressed cycle.

What can you do tho? You have to go with how they present at eval.

But as you work with them and the start moving to the other side (depending on their cycle ) it gets a bit more like schizophrenia --- a lot of paranoia.

But they rarely move over totally into the intensity of schizophrenia .

Very problematic tho cause a lot of the meds for one side of the cycle exacerbate the other side of cycle.

And in general -- they are ( no matter which cycle ) just a bit off ( kinda like Eric) just bizarre generally

Socially off hard to describe it -- but as time has passed and we get little glimpses it seems like there a dash more than just a mood disorder

If you look at Eric's two interviews (stressors can make a move faster) there is some differences - he seems more disjointed in the second one.

He has trouble staying on a thought .

He seemed to be better at it the first interview but that could imo be stress in and of itself.

But there is an emotional , for lack of a better word, goofiness to them

hard to dx and hard to describe !

I am just speculating tho

The thing is I wasn't there and it's heard it a ton of times and it still doesn't sound like gunfire to me. Nor have I heard the same sound again during his rampage. moo

Then I guess you haven't been watching. People have posted right after their "true" accounts of the night (I'm talking the same night, very next day etc), when details are still clear to them and emotions raw, and people have literally put in comments "I'd be watching your back. Hide out somewhere safe. Remove the video. Get protection etc", and the videos were taken down (I assume out of fear). One poster even wrote... Save this video in case something happens to me, when him and his gf did a live video the next day. So ya. I don't think they feel safe. I think a lot are very afraid. And my guess is this is why there is very little in MSM. Who wants that target? Moo

I think the original plan was to park the car full of explosives near the tanks. The car exploding near the tanks would have been monumental. Shooting on people was the "distraction". Something offed up but the 32 floor shooter enacted according to plan even though the car didn't get there.
