After reading the quote made by union president, its seems crystal clear to me why JC didn't do foxnews or those other interviews. Obviously he didn't "disappear" anywhere. It sure doesn't sound to me that either Hannity or those other interviews were ever actually his idea or something he wanted to do.

People can sue anybody for anything. It's far from certain any such lawsuits would prevail. In this particular case, suspect was a regular casino player for years, stayed in hotels many times, and haven't caused any problems. It would be hard to show that hotel should have known something was wrong this time.

I agree, every time there is a major disaster the liability of lawsuits get flung like spaghetti on the wall. It's also serves as an opportunity for unknown attorneys to get their name in the headlines.

I'm not suggesting that victims deserve to suffer financially through no fault of their own, but lawyers who attempt to benefit from tragedy doesn't seem right either.

I’m missing where it says he WANTED to do five interviews. I see five interviews were planned. Not that he expressed he wanted to do them.

Perhaps he had an anxiety attack beforehand? Seems pretty reasonable. More reasonable than whatever CT is being alluded to in the accusatory and snarky posts about JC going on Ellen instead of Hannity.

And then MGM decided that was not in their best interest, so they booked him on a comedy show instead. You make a good point though, it does seem like he is being manipulated, by multiple parties. But I have to believe that the union is more looking out for his best interest, then a company that stands to lose billions from lawsuits.

I think it's utterly demeaning to JC to make him appear as if he's a mindless puppet.

His appearance on Ellen did no harm to The Union.

He glossed over my response as well where I pointed out that nowhere in that article did Campos say that he wanted to do the interview with Hannity or the others.

Hannity always seemed like such a peculiar choice to me. Not because of any tough questions but because of political views. I don't think it ws JC's idea to go on foxnews to do Hannity interview.

From the fox article above the president said: “I’m not criticizing Mr. Campos and his decision, since he has been through a horrendous event, but what I was saying is it’s not the venue I would have chosen or recommended.”

Do you really think it is appropriate for a "comedienne" to be doing what is supposed to be a serious news interview?

Having watched her show and seen the way she treats people yes, I think she's a great person for victims to talk to. She's kind and patient but also funny in dealing with them and I think she strikes the perfect balance.

I don't watch the show but from little I have seen she appears very likable. I would certainly pick her over Hannity every time if anybody ever wanted to interview me.

I agree. That video sure blows away the theory of two shooters. It's too bad the police didn't put together a timeline like that in the beginning.

Desperately disturbing aspects..paints a clearer picture of the cruelty of the man..

By the graces of the Gods, he was slowed over time. The video with its commentary certainly gives a sense that something was slowing him down. I would think he had not fully set up his guns and the early shots heated the guns to a point where they were not readily usable.

He seemed to have changed weapons too. I wonder what mOOCow would make of this?
Or, were there different guns lined up for different angles?
Were his shots more or less accurate towards the end, I wonder?
(I doubt that data is public information at this point)

Its still unclear whether he did or not hit the tanks first, as the Sheriff suggested in an earlier presser?
