Question for anyone who knows, when they say "european dentistry" would that include Canada's methods. And does anyone know offhand what they mean by that in the first place?
The sketch may be a bit "cartoonish" but it depicted a vital ID marker. Here it is.
Now, we need a Moderator to put a **WARNING GRAPHIC** label on the post title.

It appears (from both artist renditions and the morgue photo) the UID had a mole or blemish on the side of her jaw and above the outside of her eyebrow (both on her right side. That mark should be listed in a MP report if one was made. If not, perhaps at some point a family member would recall it/ that is why it is so important the "artist" notes all visible marks that may have been on the UID prior to death.
EDITED TO ADD:
I am looking through the thread as someone here said this particular depiction was "cartoonish" and I thought I was replying to it. Sorry, Carll if that was not you. I just jumped off the photo and did not read.
There is another feature about this sketch . This artist has her nose more narrow along the bridge. This feature can completely change the appearance of a person. Her nose appears to be badly bruised which would result in swelling. I think the artist allowed for this and drew her more closely than the first sketch which looks more like an enhanced photo by leaving in the swelling.
Carl could you possible compare faces with the doenetwork link I posted? A postmortem and this missing girls face? http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/2113dfnsw.html
I'm looking at it and was just, wow.
