JMO but have I missed something in the national news lately that there are several dismembered bodies turning up in the US?

dismembered bodies turn up from time to time but i dont think they are all related. Sara Goodwin was dismembered by her killer in Houston, TX in Feb but he is in jail already.

it looks like they know who it is but its not released yet. also know the killer.

Amazing. Some of these killers just won't stop, regardless of their age. It's something judges will have to consider when granting parole to elderly killers.

Who would have thought such an elderly person who has spent most of his adult life in prison would still be capable of this? Most won't, but there are always exceptions.

The evidence against him is solid, including security cam video that shows the victim carrying a flowered bag going into the killer's apartment, followed by the killer leaving his apartment later while carrying the victim's bag. Also receipts from the killer buying an electric saw at the local hardware store.

Marceline was arrested and jailed in 1986. He was released on lifetime parole in 2019.

how do you not know what you are discarding if its the size of a torso?

ok that clears up the confusion, it was the suspect themself dumping the remains.

I am truly shocked that someone in their 80s was able to physically commit this heinous murder.

Not at all the weirdest feature of this case is the fact that a trans woman seems to have kept the name Harvey.

She did about 21 yrs for the shooting murder of her live-in GF in 1963. Paroled in May 1984.

Her body was found in a bag near Central Park, and Marcelin was convicted of manslaughter and later released on lifetime parole in August 2019.

She was charged with second degree murder today, and the concealment of a human corpse after a human head was found in her apartment.
