"SUFFERN - Two hikers discovered a dead man lying about 20 feet off a trail in Harriman State Park yesterday morning.
About 7:15 a.m., they called Suffern police to the location, close to the entrance of the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail. Local police then called on the state park police and park forest rangers to investigate the finding.
The man was described as being white and in his mid-60s, park police said. The Rockland County Medical Examiner's Office, which also went to the area, will conduct an autopsy to determine how the man died."
