Circumstances of RecoveryUnknown black female found in the Stenton Hotel at 39 West 27th St. She had checked into the hotel with another female on May 4th, and was found when the hotel manager came to check on her because she had not checked out. Had multiple balloons of heroin in her stomach, it is likely that she was a body packer, smuggling drugs into the country.

A lot of people from Nigeria have scarves on there cheeks. I don't know if Negeria is a drugs trafficking country.

Ghana is a hub for drugs trafficking, I believe the trait mostly ruled by Nigerians.

Looking at her file she is stated African American, so she might as well come from America and was not traveling the heroine in, but was planning to traffic it out. Is it possible to conceal the length the heroine was in her body during an autopsy? She checked in on May 4th and was found on May 6th. I think dealers would be 'all over them" after arrival to make sure they deliver the drugs.

I hope the person who was with her (if she wasn't killed or incarcerated) does something afterall to gave her back her name...but I guess she didn't/couldn't because this Jane Doe is already gone for more that 10 years.

According to the reviews it must have been horrible at least back to 2001. Dirty sheets, mice, cockroaches, bed bugs, only channels and prostitutes. Nowadays people are more satisfied. You had to pay cash every other night you stayed there. (Says enough IMO) What a tremendous sad place and way to leave this earth. I feel so sorry for this woman.

She was with another woman, what was her role in this? Balloon provider? I wonder if she was made ready to travel or she was delivering. When delivering you would think somebody would take the balloons out even if she was dead. Maybe the woman who was with her wasn't able to do that for whatever reason.....I don't know.
