They closed both sides of the Tollway here in Dallas years back when Reagan was visiting. They DID move awfully fast, but of course, Dallas drivers are pretty darn quick too.

We were on I-79 North in Northern West Virginia yesterday and a motorcade went past, they were going 85 +. WAY FAST. We just couldn't believe it. We still don't know whom it was, but there is a big FBI headquarters there, and NASA just came in too. If they crash, they're dead, no way they can stop in time for anything, amazing other innocents haven't died, yet.

Very wreckless as the routes taken are never the same. He was in Ohio back in April or May of this year and it's always a fiasco.

Flying is even worse. When AF1 goes by it's as if your house is losing ground.

How do all the necessary vehicles get where the president is.
I have always wondered how this happens.

They fly it there with the other cars, I believe. The locals then assist. My husband used to work on Air Force One. I'll ask him when he gets out of the shower if he knows more.

Okay, got the low down. A C-130 accompanies Air Force One with the limo and another car. There is local Secret Security in every "major" city and of course the local FBI and other law enforcement that they coordinate with.
