“Mr. Bailes made suicidal remarks before his disappearance,” Pauly said. “While the Tiffin Police Department currently lacks detailed information about his medical or mental health, his statements indicate that he may pose a clear risk to himself.”

In 2023 he had an arrest for D/U OVE SUSPENSION. In Ohio, OVI means operating a vehicle impaired and falls under the same umbrella of charges as a DUI (driving under the influence) but applies to both motorized and non-motorized vehicles.

Driving under OVI suspension is when you operate a vehicle with a driver’s license that was suspended because of an OVI charge, generally a first-degree misdemeanor. A misdemeanor isn't anything most people go missing for, and I hope he's finding help somewhere for what troubles him and will come home soon.
