Headline News reporting the only shots fired were by LE taking down the stabber.

Things are starting to make sense....so confusing during first reports.

Again, my heart goes out to the OSU community. This is tough to deal with.

According to Sheriffs office on scene the situation is still active, still searching Lane Ave. Garage, alert did not come from department.

The all clear alert

According to photo at that link, the body of the assumed perp is on the sidewalk outside the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Bldg.

Soo....I'm assuming there is a connection with the smell of chemicals?

just thinking aloud.

A car was also involved. Reports that the campus is now secure. Prayers for those injured.

Is anyone watching HLN in the last few minutes?Michaela was talking over news footage but not commenting on actual footage.WSYX video shows SWAT escorting a young white male with hands behind back(cuffed) to a paddy wagon.Did anyone see that?Looked like an arrest.

Knives kill! I wonder how long it will be before protesters are protesting against knives, in ANY public location? Prayers for these families.

Maybe shots heard were from cops

no second suspect per local

I have read that there were gunshots, a machete, and a car driving into a crowd. So bizarre. Any word on when a press conference may take place??

I saw the picture of the body on Twitter. It's so strange to me that it looks undisturbed. Is it common for them to not check vitals or anything? Police are just kind of standing around. I always assumed even with a criminal/shooter they would secure any weapons but then try to save his life still. But maybe that's dumb of me. I would just think keeping him alive to find motive would be good.

Maybe the photo was taken after vitals were taken...and there were no vital signs.

IDK, just guessing.
