I’m curious about the other two cars they found at the same time. Any other missing persons in the area?
Stolen cars are often ditched in bodies of water. A couple of years ago divers searched a pond in Indianapolis looking for a gun used in a murder. They didn’t find the gun but they found five vehicles, all empty, all had been stolen.

Not saying the other vehicles were stolen but it is a possibility.

Because no other remains were found, the two children will still be listed as missing persons cases unless more remains are found. The family could also file through the courts to have the children declared legally dead.

Once the weather improves, investigators will resume their search for human remains in the area where the SUV was found.

It seems odd only one bone was found in the vehicle. Which bone? Like a femur, rib, pelvis? Or a finger or toe?

unless that kind of speculation is too much of conspiracy. Just thinking if she wanted to take the kids and disappear leaving a bone for investigators to find isn’t a bad idea. Of course, she couldn’t have known the vehicle wouldn’t be found for 20 years.

Hopefully the rest of their remains are found soon, if they’re in the river.

they Had mentioned that they would try to dive search again, once the weather becomes easier to work with . Has anyone heard if they are diving into the Ohio river to continue the search for John and Kristina Nguyen. Can't find any updates. No other human remains were found in Nguyen’s vehicle. Authorities said they’re planning additional dives near the site of the SUV’s wreckage in an effort to locate additional possible remains as soon as the weather improves. The case remains open and active.

They only found femur bone that was identified to be Stephanie's. I did email the LE and they wouldn't give me a direct answer as to when they will pick up searching for Kristina and John.
