Law enforcement sources have told 3News Crime and Justice Reporter Lydia Esparra that investigators are searching a home on Cleveland'swest side in connection to the disappearance of a 56-year-old woman.

Police are currently at a residence near West 139th Street and Sherry Avenue conducting the search.
 
WKYC reported that officers searched the home in the 4300 block of West 139th near Sherry Avenue on Tuesday. The station noted that investigators are looking into the disappearance of Tammy Dubuisson, 56, who was last seen May 22

A neighbor tells WKYC the man who lived in the home was in a relationship with Dubuisson and that he claimed she was sick with cancer. When the neighbor did not believe him, she asked him where Dubuisson was, and he responded that she had "moved to Indiana."
 
Cleveland police and FBI agents searched a home on the city’s West side Tuesday in connection with a Cleveland mom missing since May 22.

An FBI spokesperson released the below statement to 19 News:

“The FBI was assisting the Cleveland Division of Police with court authorized law enforcement activity. You might want to reach out to CPD for additional information.”
 
Around 2 p.m., Cleveland Police were following up on an investigation and responded to a home on the 4300 block of West 139th Street, police said.

While at the home, investigators found the human remains, police said.

An initial interview of the 59-year-old man led investigators to believe that the remains belonged to Tammy Dubuisson, 56, who was reported missing on June 29, police said.

On or about May 23rd, 2024, at 4307 W 139th St, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, OH, James G Drahos did assault his live-in girlfriend Tammy Dubuisson, the assault knocking Dubuisson to the ground. Dubuisson died from the assault and lack of medical care after striking the ground.

Drahos then left Dubuisson’s body outside for at least 8 hrs. When Drahos discovered that Dubuisson was deceased, he placed her lifeless body into a garbage can for at least 30 days, then conveyed her body to a nearby dumpster and placed Dubuisson’s body within the dumpster for disposal.

Drahos, 59, is accused of striking and killing his girlfriend May 23 and “leaving her body outside for eight hours,” according to an affidavit obtained by WKYC.

Then, according to the court documents from WKYC and WOIO, he put Dubuisson’s body into a trash can for at least 30 days.

Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Suzan Marie Sweeney set his bond at $2 million and ordered a mental health evaluation before any release.

"While in the driveway, Drahos struck Tammy Dubuisson’s head causing her to fall on the ground. He then went inside the residence and left her outside for eight to 10 hours. Drahos failed to call 911 or provide her medical services," the prosecutor's office added.

More than a month later on July 7, prosecutors say that the daughter of Drahos and Dubuisson went to the house and discovered "bone fragments in the driveway." She called police for assistance.

The Cleveland Division of Police responded to the scene and collected the bone fragments, later confirmed by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office to be human remains.
