GUILTY OK - Cathouse star Brooke Phillips, 3 others murdered in OKC home, 9 Nov 2009

Please forgive me if there is already a thread for this. There was a house fire in Oklahoma on Monday that turned out to be arson. Inside were the bodies of four adults (two of the women were pregnant). Both pregnant women were shot. One of the women was HBO reality star, Brooke Phillips of the show Cat House.

Firefighters found the four bodies when they responded to the blaze Monday. The other two had not been officially identified Friday, but friends and relatives said they were Jennifer Lynn Ermey, 25, and Casey M. Barrientos, 32. Barrientos, released from prison in July, had done time for drugs and drive-by shootings, his records showed.
Jose Fierro, who rented the one-story house, was interviewed by police Wednesday, his lawyer said.

I don't have HBO so I'm not familiar with Brooke or the show. Such a tragedy that these YOUNG (21?) women were murdered along with their unborn children.

Wow according to the 2nd article another of the victims was from the show as well....you almost wonder if theres a connection.

I used to watch this show all the time - when I could afford premium channels. I remember her from the show and she was so sweet and friendly. This is so sad for all the victims and their babies.

This is the definitive (so far) OKC paper story, from The Daily Oklahoman* on Saturday 14 November. It has a link to a MySpace memorial page for one of the women, plus seamy details---of another victim, "Barrientos had devil horns tattooed on his forehead and was in and out of prison beginning in 1997, according to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections."

Arson to cover up murder.. CatHouse seems to be an HBO adult reality show about a brothel.
The one man who was a victim, Casey, seems to have drug, driveby, assault offenses and was in prison.
Then we have the possibility there is someone out there who doesn't like prostitutes (being the one was on a show about a brothel).
Jennifer Ermey was a topless dancer.


Um.. over the past 11 years, 21 people have died in fires in Oklahoma City that have stumped investigators.. doesn't look good for them.

"In a court affidavit, police detective Ryan Porter reported the witness recalled a man known as Hooligan was arguing with one victim when the shooting occurred. The detective reported the witness ran when Hooligan yelled out that he 'had no problems with the witness.'

"The witness later identified Hooligan as David Allen Tyner, the detective reported."

Oklahoma prison wardens were told Tuesday to be on alert for further inmate unrest because of a convicted felon’s arrest, an official confirmed.

Denny Edward Phillips 32, is under police investigation because of suspicions he ordered the deaths of four people last November in Oklahoma City.

Two Tulsa police officers shot him in the abdomen Monday outside a Motel 6 during an arrest in a burglary case, police reported. He is expected to recover.

Fights involving American Indian and Hispanic inmates broke out at three prisons Nov. 21. The disturbances came one day after another man, David Allen Tyner, was charged with murder in connection to the drug-related slayings. Some inmates were hospitalized.

I happened to watch the Cathouse sometimes as the reality show. As advertise, Brooke was great personality & easy going person during the show. It was sad to see her gone in her young age with being expectation. RIP, Brooke alongside with 5 victims.

Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma shot Denny Edward Phillips on Monday after he pointed a gun at them. He was arrested on federal weapons charges but has now also been identified as a &#8220;person of interest&#8221; in the fire in which blonde Brooke and and three others - Mark Barrientos, Jennifer Ermey and Milagrous Barrera &#8212; were all found dead last November.

Brooke had been shot and stabbed before the building was set ablaze.

Another man, David Allen Tyner, has previously been arraigned in connection with the murders. Tyner is allegedly a member of a Native American gang called the Native Brotherhood.

Possible Motives Revealed In Cathouse Beauty Murder

It was not immediately clear when Denny Edward Phillips, who is hospitalized in serious condition, might appear in court or if he had an attorney.

Sole survivor of shooting involving “Cathouse” star testifies in Oklahoma City

The sole survivor of a shooting that killed a prostitute featured on the HBO reality series “Cathouse” and three other people says he paid a Mexican mafia $2,000 less than it was owed for drugs just hours before the shooting.

Jose Fierro testified Wednesday in the preliminary hearing David Allen Tyner — who's charged with six counts of first-degree murder. He has pleaded not guilty.

Fierro said he paid $16,000 to the Mexican mafia when members came to his home to collect $18,000 for drugs they had provided.

He said he escaped through a garage when gunfire broke out after Tyner came to the home.

i'm not surprised by this. I always thought he had more to do with this than just owning the house.

I also noticed this same guy was recently arrested for drugs.

imagine getting out of that house alive & then still continuing with the insanity of using/dealing drugs. unreal! i guess that shows the power of addiction.... or just not caring about your own life.

IMO those girls had nothing to do with what was going down in that house- they really were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
