Update About Kathy Hemphill.
After researching hard facts about this case, I think that it is interesting that she was out on bond from a parole violation, went to her court date the first part of October and did not show up for sentencing. She had a warrant out for her arrest, in violation of parole and was going back to prison. She was NOT reported missing. Her car was NOT reported stolen according to the Tulsa World newspaper. John Lee was NOT the last person seen with her. Her car was found in Cleveland AFTER John Lee went to jail on 500,000 bond for ramming a police cruiser, although the dash cam footage shows the officer RAMMING him. There are a many “facts” about this case that do not match the local PD’s statements. For example local PD says that John Lee was considered a SUPECT by Tulsa County Sheriffs office in 2 homicides which was not true. The TCSO gave a statement that this was NOT TRUE. The Tulsa news CH 6, received this story and reported on it then had to retract their story, as well as ch 8 and the Tulsa World. The Cleveland, Oklahoma newspaper that is known to report twisted stories by the local population did NOT retract that story, they instead said that John Lee “had been” a suspect but “now the TCSO was saying that JL was no longer a suspect.” The local PD has made derogatory statements and false statements as shown on the dash cam footage. Tulsa Sheriffs office reports the car that Kathy drove was found in Cleveland and that it was being processed while Cleveland kept asking for people to locate it. ?? This is not the only missing persons case originating in Cleveland, OKLA. many of those missing people have a history with CPD, which is a PD that has been investigated by other LE agencies as violating people’s civil rights. Otherwise, she simply could have “ran” because of the warrant and knowing she was going back to prison.

Kathy Lynn Hemphill – The Charley Project

Details of Disappearance
Hemphill was last seen at her home in the 5900 block of west 4th Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma sometime in October 2017. She has never been heard from again. Her car, a white 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Oklahoma license plate number 113HFG, disappeared with her.

In February 2018, John David Lee II was spotted driving Hemphill's car, and authorities announced they were seeking him as a witness and person of interest in Hemphill's disappearance. A photo of Lee is posted with this case summary. He was arrested on unrelated charges a few days later, and the next day, police found Hemphill's missing vehicle.

Little information is available in Hemphill's disappearance. Her case remains unsolved.

Same Man Connected To 2 Missing Persons Cases
[...]

Investigators said Kathy's common-law-husband kept changing his story about where Kathy was. A man named John Lee was arrested after he was found driving Kathy's car.

According to an online missing person's website called The Charley Project, Lee is also a person of interest in another case.

Richard Horn was last seen with Lee in Cleveland, Oklahoma on July 22, 2014.

Lee said he dropped Horn off and never heard from him again. Horn is also the 6 of hearts in the OSBI Cold Case playing cards. The cards are given to inmates in the hopes of solving cold cases.

Kathy Lynn Hemphill

''Hunt said one of the most challenging things about her mother's disappearance is not having a place to mourn her.
"It would be nice if we could find her and find her remains, and that way, we could bury her and have a place to go and visit her. I just hope that somebody sees this, and they do come forward because I know there are people out there that know what happened," said Hunt.
Anyone with information about the disappearance of Kathy Hemphill can contact the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office at 918-596-8661.''
