Deschutes County Sheriff's Office searching for missing 1-year-old in Bend

BEND, Ore. – The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 1-year-old boy in Bend.

Deputies say the child was reported missing near Sholes Road and Tekampe Road. He was last seen near a barbed wire fence.

Investigators say the boy has blond hair and brown eyes. He is possibly wearing a green onesie and a baby blue blanket.

The sheriff’s office is asking residents in the area to check their properties and call 911 immediately if you see him.

The key question is how long was it from the time he was last seen until someone noticed he was missing. How far can a less than 2 year old get? It would help to know if he had shoes on. I too am rather concerned that what he was wearing is only described as "possibly" since a child that young doesn't dress themselves.

Yeah, really. Who exactly saw him and why would they let a one year old be near a barbed wire fence anyway? How do you lose track of a baby near a barbed wire fence?

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate a missing child between the area of China Hat Rd and Sholes/Tekampe Road in Bend, Oregon. The child is one year old and his name is Bradley Michael Thomas. He is described as being a white male juvenile with blonde hair, brown eyes, possibly wearing green onesies and baby blue blanket. A photo of a vehicle associated with Bradley and his parents is attached.

The child was last seen possibly near a barbed wire fence in this area. Please check your property if you live in this area and call Deschutes county 911 immediately if found. Anyone with information on Bradley’s whereabouts is asked to call 541-693-6911

So the location seems to be shifted from first reports. Why is there an emphasis on the parents vehicle? Also, the photo of the child doesn't look recent to me.
