from pictures, it seems like Kyron has a lot of clothes that are too big and are possibly hand me downs from big brother.

now see... I saw that different. Kyron clothes from the pictures always looked press and neat. And when I buy clothes for my grandson I buy a sizer larger. And his Shirts are updated and what most 7 years olds are wearing today.

Little boys tend to grow in one day.

This is really off topic about his clothes.
I see your point.... I just seen it different.

I am afraid that what is unique here is that after 6 days, they still don't know exactly which scenario to focus on...

I worry about the incongruity of the escalated ground search vs. the "criminal? missing/endangered" facets of what we are seeing in this investigation. SARS vs. CARD. I think perhaps they have an theory regarding who might have escorted him out of school and where they would have gone - (someone familiar to the family).

People in this area are often very outdoorsy. So a walk on a trail or off-trail - is not that strange an activity with someone you know.

I've been wondering if they have a strong hunch and are going with the potential perp's profile, or profiles - and that's what this search is about. Assuming perp(s) not cooperating, but also can't account for their time, etc...

Has the question been posed to Law Enforcement if there are camera's present in the school, at the entrance and exits of the building? I would be surprised if this school doesn't have a few camera's. TIA

And thanks to those who answered about the Bio-mom, just trying to catch up!

Because I never press my GS shirts.

ahh.. good input.

The only reason I noticed was because his sister has such cute, new, matching outfits, the difference in his clothes stood out.
It may just be a boy/girl or baby/kid thing :)

CSI toys and games and puzzles are marketed to little kids. Friends of mine have 5yr olds who play with black-light clue-finders, toy microscopes etc. The kids don't watch the show, they just pretend to be detectives or investigators looking for clues...kind of like playing spy.

OT
My GS got a whole set I-Spy toys for Christmas. They are really neat.

No cameras.

Thank you, JBean. The blatent insensitivity shown by some posts in this thread makes me want to leave the forum. And not that I am all that valuable, but I imagine I am not the only one who feels that way.

It is nice to know the mods are so supportive of a victim friendly forum. Thank you again.

JTSYS (Just To See You Smile) - brought this over from the previous thread - please don't think about leaving. Your vast experience in searching for the missing with your amazing dogs is so very valuable to those of us here at WS. I appreciate you answering our questions about search dogs and the search. I know from the Aja thread you and Oriah have a sense of justice and compassion that benefits the missing in untold ways. Thanks for all that you do.

IIRC an official from the school system stated at one of the press confs that there were no cameras at the school.

I guess I can see that everyone reacts to trauma differently, regarding the family.

I think LE are doing a great job, as some of you have also mentioned. Professional and boy do they have the whole state and the feds looking hand and foot for this little dude :)

I just have to mention how WONDERFUL kimster (and others) is/are for starting the "red-eyed tree frog" avatar in honor of Kyron. Such a clever and thoughtful idea. I'd love to do this to my WS profile, but I am new and haven't quite figured out how to, lol. I am at work, and it's hard to openly breeze through this site without my bosses passing by.

I need to show some support to all the other missing children listed on the forums, so hopefully I can make it over soon. It's all very daunting!

In WA it is illegal for a child under 13 to be in the front seat, unless the vehicle does not have a back seat. I see it happen all the time when I am at my son's school and it really bothers me. I'm going to start calling the # to report it!

My daughter is six, and we moved out of Oregon when she was two, so I'm not sure what is new in the way of car seat rules, but as an infant I was legally able to have her rear facing car seat in the front seat. When she moved to a front facing one I put her in the back.

Hi elle!! Nice to see you here! You are a little late to this one, but I worry we've only just begun. This has been characterized as a nice little school with a caring little school community without cameras. And, here-to-fore, it seems every one there had no reason to worry about it. I know you will quickly catch up & folks here will help you. :) Oh, and this is not PC (county) by a long shot. ;)

HLN bleep says FBI is looking into whether sex offender is linked to Kyron's disappearance

ETA: it's the RSO that attempted to abduct the 5yo, 20 miles away.. sorry can't remember name

Same hair color, glasses. Looks to be the same age.

Also, why is the child in the front seat? Do Bugs have an option to turn off the airbag?

Because there are a lot of parents who seem unclear on the concept that kids go in the back seat. My children keep saying 'so and so sits in the front seat' and my answer is 'too bad for her'. You will sit in the back seat for as long as I see fit....my oldest is 11.

ITA eyes.

JTSYS you ARE valuable here!

And, I know how you feel. I had to step away from a couple cases for a while to get my bearings. I found myself so caught up in defending parents that I was finding myself in T/O for argueing with members. lol

So, I get what you are saying, but hang in there. I hope we hear something soon.
