LP may have inserted himself here, but he isn't alone in raising questions about what the PI's were doing and why. They seem to be contributing themselves.
Did PI H show the alleged video to a member of the media? Did he suggest that it could show the remains were not there in November when he videoed "the scene?" Did he say he was a PI for the A family? If so, he had to expect a media explosion. And now a press conference is on the horizon.
The other PI, C, claims they had no association and that he was the only PI working for the A's in November, though he also states that the guy was allowed by the A's to do something for them, involving security. It still seems logical there was some link (not necessarily a nefarious one) that brought them both (admittedly) to the same place, on the same day, that place being the area where the remains were eventually found. Orlando is big enough that multiple people associated with this case in some way can't all just happen to overhear conversations in public places, or pass by windows of people and eavesdrop, and end up checking out the same locale at the same time. Not happening. LP also can't make up the fact that PI C until recently worked for the defense.
The explanation by PI C, and his comments about filming being inappropriate, when he was out there taking photgraphs, are causing a lot of speculation because they don't make a lot of sense.
The timing is what it is, too. Can someone remind me of when there was all the discussion of TES coming back to search and starting to search in Orlando in November, when CA was so adamantly opposed?
JB has a perfect right to try to protect any A/C confidences, but his statements about this have fueled speculation. And has he actually stated publicly that he fired PI C?
Bottom line, if a PI has protected privileged information, or knows it could appear he does, he ought to be more careful about what he says in such an inflammatory atmosphere.
