Speculation needs to be based on some known fact that is in MSM.

Unless there is MSM or info from LE that states Linda has some mental disability or is on the spectrum, that discussion is not productive and simply derails the thread with many posts that may not even be relevant.

Please move on from that discussion.

Thanks.

Got the locations faster than I expected. I think JS pulled behind the Weavertown Mennonite School, took the "sack" off and told her that if she yelled or made any signal, he would kill her, then continued on. At some point between 13:30 hours and 15:30 hours, LS is no longer seen. That is only two hours.

Thx Tracker. Does any detail change your idea of areas to search?

It seems to indicate two area of interest. Snake Road at Umble's Run (creek) and the business at Harvest Rd. The times and locations limit most other options and locations unless there is a lot LE has not put in the Criminal Complaint.

I thought I was keeping up with this case but I must have missed the part about stalking other Amish girls. Where did this come from?

I'd previously thought that, despite all the searches in the Welsh Mountain, the Police Criminal Complaint made no mention of this area however this is incorrect.

It states in paragraph 41 that following the abduction, JS transported LS "to the eastern side of Lancaster County, to include some remote areas within the Welsh Mountains".

This is at least 10 minutes away by car from the last sighting included in the Criminal Complaint as the car turned right on to Peters Road at approx 1:30pm heading east. Cell phone records show JS at 3104 Harvest Drive at 2:32pm which is approximately 25 minutes away from the Mountain area which would total a minimum of 35 minutes driving time from the 60 minutes between the Peters Road sighting and arriving at Harvest Drive. This doesn't leave much time for whatever he was going there to do.

As others have already mentioned, LE know much more than they're releasing on the Complaint.

Were there further sightings between the Mountain area and Harvest Drive? If so, was there a passenger?

The Complaint refers to cell phone records AND video surveillance that places JS's car at Harvest Drive. What does the video show? Does it show just the Kia Rio at this time?

Respectfully snipped and bolded by me.

Exactly. He did not have much time and why I think it's one of the two spots I previously noted. Time limitations virtually preclude any other scenarios. The remains could have been moved a day or two later, but cell phone records (at least the ones noted in the criminal complaint) show him only at Harvest Drive.

This case is so confusing with the limited info being released. He has such a small window. There was no mention of him returning to the Welsh Mtns after the abduction that I've seen, but several times at Harvest Dr.

It was mentioned the business owner at Harvest Dr took photos of the inside of Smokers car. What did he see?!

I think Harvest Dr has more significance than they're letting on, but then why so much focus the Welsh Mtns?

I think about Linda and her family every day. I check for updates each day hoping she is located.

The route he took from the abduction site to turning east on Peters Road via all the locations of sightings of the vehicle along the way is meandering however I have a thought that may make sense of it.

He would have turned left on Church Road and then left again into the church parking lot to the rear. Was he looking for the nearest place to attack the poor girl?

Within 5 minutes, perhaps he decided it wasn't private enough (being a Sunday) and thought of somewhere more suitable. He was raised by his adopted parents in Gap therefore might he have thought of Salisbury Elementary School (his first school?) hence the sighting on Buena Vista Road?

Shortly afterwards as he headed east on Peters Road, his remaining goal was to silence and dispose because he had ALREADY attacked her.
