Could this be Diana Miller Missing from Camron County PA since June 20th 1986...

https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/7436/67/

Diana weighs only five more pounds Then the UID

Diana is only 4 inches shorter then the UID..

There's almost a year's gap between Diana going missing and this JD dying in the wreck though. Diana's Namus said she disappeared from Emporium PA and was believed to have been headed for the Sinnemahoning Snake Hunt which was only a 30 minute drive away. It's possible I guess.

Agnes Ann Young?

Everyone is sketchy about the time / date she went missing, around 1986 is said.

Weight matches, height only 5 in off, I never believe the height estimates very well anyway.

A little off the age range at 43.

Stephanie Stroh was hitchiking a ride home from a truck stop in Nevada. Is it possible she decided (or was abducted?) that instead of going home she'd take a road trip back east? Nine days is plenty of time to truck halfway across the country.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Circumstances of Disappearance
Stroh was last seen when she called her parents at the Four Way Cafe and Truck Stop in Wells, Nevada on October 15, 1987. She said she was coming home that night, was hitchhiking and had a ride. Stroh had hitchhiked from NY and was on her way to California.

Did the truck driver survive? Are there any old newspaper articles about this incident. Seems odd that a burning tractor trailer truck incident would have so little info about a young passenger.

NamUs has date as 10/28/87. The attached article says 10/22/87. I attached both pdf and jpg of the same article so one way or another, the article should open.
Oh thank you! I was able to read the PDF. So, they immediately expected to cremate back then. How sad. That explains why there's no DNA. It seems with so little remains left, they'd not even need to cremate, just embalm if possible and inter. Any possibility of having that recreation of the skull done digitally at this point? That would be very helpful with social media now.

Definitely worth looking into more I'd say

Othram’s in-house genealogy team then produced investigative leads using genetic genealogy. PSP Troop T investigators worked through the leads and determined that the unknown woman was Linda Jean McClure, 26, of Indiana, Pennsylvania. To further confirm the identity, her brother submitted a DNA sample for comparison. McClure’s family told investigators they last communicated with her in the late 1980s. She was not reported as missing to law enforcement.
