<Snipped to highlight>

This is probably way off, but I noticed some Grateful Dead mentions on Tod's FB (link in post #2) and noticed "Bobby Weir (one of the Grateful Dead founding members) and the Wolf Bros. featuring The Wolf Pack" had two CT dates. Just wondering if that might possibly have been where he would have been heading?

Sad news.

PITTSBURGH —
The man whose body was found inside a vehicle that was recovered from the Allegheny River Saturday afternoon has been identified as Tod A. Diminno, 54, of Harmony, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office confirmed.

Pittsburgh police confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 the vehicle was discovered by a crew that showcases its specialized dives in a YouTube show called 'Adventures with Purpose.'

Doug Bishop, of 'Adventures with Purpose,' said his team, along with Chaos Divers, were in the area to conduct searches related to two cold cases.

"This was not the person we were looking for," Bishop said. "So this was an incidental find."

Oh no. I feel so terribly sorry for his little daughter. RIP Tod, it sounds like you were one of a kind and very loved.

It looks like about a half hour from his shop in Harmony to the area of the North Shore and Art Rooney location.

I know it said in the OP that Tod had borrowed the car he was driving when he went missing - makes me wonder if maybe it had some trouble (brakes?) or reacted differently than he was used to and he lost control?

The previous article above and this one both say that AWP was actually looking for two other people. Wouldn't it be awesome if AWP found all three in this search?

"The divers were looking for 70-year-old Janet Walsh, who has been missing from Shaler Township since 2020 and 78-year-old Bunnie Lee, who disappeared from Homewood in 2013".

AWP livestream starting in two hours:

Watching the press briefing before the livestream and they said they have located 100 vehicles(!) there so far and it would take a while to investigate them. 100!

I realize that many vehicles will probably have just been ditched, but if they can locate any answers for any families it will be such a blessing.
