While I don't believe JB is the LISK, I do believe he either knowingly or unsuspectingly covered up for the LISK. My belief is that he is the one who set up the "dates" using Craigslist. Possibly at the request of the LISK so his "wife wouldn't find out", although the LISK's real reasoning was to have someone other than himself to point the finger at. Once JB found out the call girls were found murdered (end of 2010), did he put 2 and 2 together. The only reason he continued to stay quiet is because whoever he was setting up the call girls for could just point the finger back at JB, and it would become a he said/he said.
That being said, I think JB was just used by the LISK, and my guess would be only from the time Craigslist was being used to set up the meetings. (Before and after it was the LISK alone setting up the meeting with the call girls.)
There was no press release from the SCPD from May, June, July, August, September, October, November 2010 of anything regarding SG. (I went through all SCPD press releases going back to the earliest one in 2006.) There were press reports of sting operations prior and after, there were press reports of missing adults, there was a press report of a man running nude down the street freaking out in Hauppage that later died and police were asking for the public's knowledge of what transpired... but nothing about SG that night/early morning. Maybe there's an incident report somewhere (as opposed to an official police report)? If there was no report filed (after a 23 min 911 call), why not if they went to investigate? Why would there be no mention until bodies were found almost 8 months later?
It begs the question, did SCPD even show up at all at that time? They say they did, but there is no report to support that. IMHO, there's only 2 reasons why there wouldn't be a report: 1. if they were never there in May 2010 to begin with or 2. they were met by GC at the gate, and since SG had run off, GC said there was no emergency, and they didn't ask further questions or take a statement at that time. The following (close to) 8 months would give ample time for those involved to hide evidence and for GC to forget *all* that transpired when he was finally asked to give his account of events. He may have forgotten exact times and any other small detail that would have been a fresh memory if recalled that early morning.
But since this is the JB thread, I've digressed...
Anyone find it odd for a black truck (?SUV?) to be parked behind JBs business, and also behind the fence of the business next door (making it appear to not be on JB's business' property).
Also, across the street is/was a UHaul rental... and next door to that is/was a nursery.
