I was in Palatka today and was told that she was found in that lake with her feet tied to blocks. And she was just put there within the last 36 days

There are a lot of rumors about Haleigh's remains being found on the web. The Sheriff's Office has stated the rumors are not true on their website for press releases. I don't have the link...saw it on another thread tho. Does someone here have their site bookmarked?

IDK, maybe someone else can be of help. If I'm not mistaken, I've seen a post or two concerning this posters name and that they post some crazy stuff. If I'm mistaken, I apologize, can anyone reading validate my claim?

Sick sense of humor. Body would have to be retrieved and sent to a coronor to determine how long it's been in the water. I'm not buying it.

Did it ever occur to anyone that since Misty is a POI, and she lives in that house, that they could not inform Ronald or his grandmother what was going on? Ron could have gone ballistic and stomped Misty to death or just shot her. They have to think of her protection, too.

Sometimes, believe it or not, LE has to weigh the pros and cons when they undertake a search like that, and decide whether it merits telling the family right then, rather than sending them in a tailspin over the possibility that their child is in that pond. Maybe they didn't want to tell them till they found something. People can go through just so much before they break down and maybe... just maybe, they felt it was best to hold off for awhile.

It's not like it wasn't all over the net last night so complete strangers probably knew more than the family....unacceptable.

LE hasn't called her a POI as far as I know.

I think I will wait until Monday until the leaks come out before I say a word about what they found or did not find. Maybe it is true and maybe it isn't. I know I won't trust a word of what is on their website until we know the truth of the matter.

Has anyone found out who owns that property yet? This is one of my weak points since I do not normally do ownership things. Could someone find it...please? I think it probably isn't relevant to who had access to the property, but I would still like to know.

We are supposed to believe it's a "coincidence" that they are spending the time, money and resources (from all these LE departments) from one of the 4,000 "tips" that they've had all along? Not from an interview -- when they have Tommy in jail on a $50,000 bond. A bond that various other people with the same charges are bailing out at $1,004.

So - they have had this "tip" all along, just not done anything with it. This is all just one big coincidence, right?

I don't buy it either, SS. Do they think we were all born yesterday?

They usually are updated in real time.

I've noticed there hasn't been a new arrest since 4:31. That's odd.

I have seen that happen before a few times. I don't know if the computers were down or being updated? I don't think it necessarily means anything.
