Where was KC for Fathers Day? I have never heard this mentioned, but you would think she would have been with GA at some time. Maybe this has to do with the fight that night. Did she acknowledge him that day????

Her pings would indicate she was at the home until around 9:30 or so, then she was at AL's house until early evening when she returned home.

I was just reading the update thread and was wondering if anyone knew what George is in shock over?

http://www.myfoxorlando.com/myfox/p...n=1&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=3.3.1

from article:

"I'm still in shock," George Anthony told FOX 35 in an interview following the event. "Everyone keeps saying I should see someone to talk to. Maybe I will eventually. Maybe I will tomorrow."

IMHO, this was said by George to confirm and back up what Cindy said on the Today show......saying that when he told OCSD and the FBI that he smelled decomp in the car and trunk(my words, not Cindy's), he was still in shock.

Anyone else think that this is "spin"? If so, how could shock cause you to smell decomp?

Definitely could be....although I don't know why I give GA somewhat of a pass...I thought "maybe" it was that he read the newest documents and even for him, there were some shocking things, I'm sure.

I think Rick's emails were news to him (though not shocking) but some of the things that took us by surprise may have been kept from George....

I *do* hope he finds someone to talk to!!

You are right, it could be his reaction to finding out about Rick's emails.

Still not lost on me that out of all the information we have been given through all the document dumps, that the emails are what has "shocked" George......know what I mean?

I think the emails are pretty benign, but he couldn't point to the more damning evidence which clearly implicates his daughter or makes his wife look like she may be fibbing.

He latched on to the emails (like a samurai, falling on his sword since they paint HIM in a bad light) and said, in Saturday Night Live fashion, "It's the emails. Yeah. That's the ticket!" :waitasec:

Note it is quoting George from an interview "after the event." I assume that event is finding the smelly car, learning Caylee was missing, etc. It would certainly make sense for him to be in shock at that time.

You're also reading it backwards. He's saying he's in shock after smelling the decomposition, not that being in shock made him smell decomposition, which makes no sense at all.

Negative--the article is from today, December 1 and the reference to "the event" is the vigil held last night. GA spoke with the media, after the event.

Also, I won't speak for Liza, but clearly her post was regarding what "shocked" George in the new documents released on Wed.

gardenhart, I don't think I have it backwards........According to Cindy on the Today Show.......George told the FBI agents about smelling human decomposition because he was still in shock from his granddaugter being missing and his daughter in jail.

Listen to Cindy state this at 6:30 in the above video link.

Thank you tippytoes......:blowkiss:

A WHAT IF: What would have been the response of the OCSO if Cindy had called them a week after Casey and Caylee left the house? All she could have told them is that her daughter and granddaughter who were living in her home, left and while she has spoken to her daughter or had contact with her through phone calls and texts, she has not seen or spoken to her granddaughter in over a week. What would the response from OCSO have been? There was no crime to report, (or at least no crime that CA would admit happened) there was no abuse to report, technically, her daughter and granddaughter were not missing at the time, just 'not home'. Realistically what would the response be from any LE department on something like this, anyone know how a call like this would have been handled? Could CA have asked for a 'welfare check' on her granddaughter, just because she hadn't spoken to her?

That's a good question. I know Casey, as an adult, was free to go off as she pleased and she had sole custody of her daughter. I guess Cindy could have called CPS with her suspicion that Caylee was being neglected and she knew at least by the time she picked up AH at the mall that Casey didn't have the job she said she did.....

At the very least, that bogus reason about her car being stolen and cash and credit card stuff that she wanted to press charges about (that she has retracted by saying she was just desperate to get LE to her house) could have been charged weeks earlier. She and George owned Casey's car and there were some financial issues with Casey that could (should) have been explored, but I hope someone with more knowledge on child care issues will weigh in.

So what you're really saying is that she blamed the shock for him believing what he had smelled was decomposition, not that being in shock caused him to smell decomposition.

I certainly wouldn't waste any time trying to make sense of any of Cindy's convoluted logic aimed at convincing everyone that Casey is innocent. Here there be mental dragons.

It would have helped if that had been made clear by the original poster by including a longer quote.

Actually, if all this is just trying to make sense of what Cindy said, well, who can make sense of what Cindy says in her constant justifications?

Casey is lazy (no job) and a looks like a girly girl (little dresses, makeup). I think she would have disposed of Caylee the easiest and quickest way possible. She seemed pretty dependent on others and can't see her wanting to handle little Caylee's body more than she would have to. It would have been so easy for her to throw Caylee over a bridge and just drive off.
I think Casey and Cindy got into a heated argument on the 15th and Cindy gave Casey some ultimateums about the partying, boyfriends, etc. Cindy probably told Casey that if she is going to live under their roof that she will start showing some responsibility and grow up. Casey probably told her that fine...her and Caylee would leave then. George saw Casey and Caylee leave on the 16th and maybe him and Cindy didn't panic at first because they just figured Casey was mad and staying with friends to avoid Cindy.
I think Casey was already feeling burdened by Caylee and did give her a little cholorform here and there on nights she would party to make her sleep. I think that after her and Cindy's fight she lost it and thought she would go running to Toney. When she called him on the afternoon of the 16th he told her she could come over but not Caylee. I feel that she put her out with a little cholorform and put her in the trunk with the rag. That night she got the movies at Blockbuster with Toney and forgot all about her. The next day she opened the trunk and discovered that she had passed away. She freaked and left her in there...went home on the 18th...backed in the garage...tried to put her somewhere in the backyard...changed her mind...moved her...that is why the dogs hit on the two spots. Also is why she borrowed the shovel. she was going to bury her...tried to dig a hole and thought it was too obvious.or too much work and put her back in the trunk of the car. Had to get rid of her quick so bought the duffle bag at penneys and put her into it...weighted it down and threw her over a bridge and peeled off.
I think she confessed to Lee and that is why we don't ever see or hear of him anymore. Also think George and Cindy know.

I heard on the radio today at lunchtime (it was Real Radio 104.1 a local Orlando station) that the Casey/Caylee case was THE SECOND MOST-SEARCHED NEWS REQUEST in a major search engine (I don't know if it was Google or what). This case has not only US National interest but world-wide. This fact just reiterates to me that if there was a live Caylee to be found she would have been. SECOND MOST-SEARCHED NEWS--that is amazing.

I wonder why law enforcement hasn't stuck some undercover woman in a cell with KC and insisted that KC shut up and leave her alone! That would NEVER work with KC and if she thought she was in with a multiple homicide suspect she would surely want to yap.If it wasn't coerced in anyway, why not? I don't think KC could stop herself. Especially if the undercover INSISTED she shut up with her nonsense and memorize DR.SEUSS or something else to just shut up, I think KC would say something. She has a need to be liked and respected and just might try to win the nasty villain over. I think it's worth a shot!

Honestly, the original poster linked you to "the event" and I have no idea where you got the wrong idea from....

No one is trying to make sense of Cindy. If you've followed the thread, LLLL pondered whether George's choice of words last night, after the event, mirrored what Cindy accused him of on the today show last week. It was a valid point so no, it had more to do with making sense out of an article posted in today's Update thread and reposted here.

You're right, I should have gone to the link. I often don't and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's probably a good idea to state clearly what you're talking about whether someone follows a link or not.

I read the original post to be asking what George was in shock about and that this shock made him smell decomposition, which doesn't make a lot of sense.

I still don't see the quote from him as referring to being in shock over something at the vigil, only that he remains in shock from the loss of his granddaughter.

And Cindy's comment, like many of her justifications, makes no sense either. But perhaps he is trying to make her comment make sense. I see what you're saying. If they're both trying to justify his early statements about smelling decomposition, I don't believe anyone is going to buy that it was because of his shock.

Has anyone wondered if LA might have been the one to look up those crazy searches at the anthony home? Maybe he didn't want girlfriend to know. I Hate to tease but this scnerio was given to me by a TV personality we all know

FACTS

KC CAYLEE spent mothers day with Chris St.z family

KC spent Fathers Day inside TonE apartment (9am to 7pm) until CA called and demanded KC come home to answer to the $354 money she stole from Grandma Shirley. Lee was not around. CA spent the day with her Father.

GA went to the tow yard July 15 to retrieve KC car. The smell with in 3 feet smelled of death. Why not call 911 right then and their? After praying and asking for the tow yard attended to watch you open the trunk…why not call 911? When driving the car home and observing the inside and outside of the car- CA/GA both verbally stated the car smelled like death-human decomp- why not call 911?

Caylee missing 30 days, daughter missing 30 days and will not let you talk to Caylee on the phone. Car smells like human decomp…why not call 911…why is it only after CA tracks down Amy…CA demand KC get in the car does CA call 911 only to demand 911 to arrest KC for stealing the car and the $354 (bank affidavit). CA was using this as a pawn—“KC you will go to jail if you do not give me my Caylee” (example)

can't understand why my thread was moved to the "parking lot" when I have read a lot worse on this thread. But then again this isn't the same Websleuths I once knew that invited "thinking outside the box". If a note worthy news station reports allegations of possible sexual abuse suffered on part of Casey it should be allowed to be discussed just as possible alleged "sightings" of Caylee are being discussed even though we all know the possibility is slim.

Incest here could be the can of worms that rooted the evil seed in Casey, check out the parking lot incest thread.
