Another thought I just had: Raven commited in his blog that he lived in 10 different places, going to 10 different schools in 17 years (or something like that)....wouldn't that mean his mother had numerous jobs? Wonder why? What was she running from?golfmom said:What about the mother & son murder team of that sweet little ole lady in New York?

Hmmm....maybe. Well there goes my idea that maybe she was fired from her jobs Of course, maybe they weren't on welfare the whole time. Raven stated in his blog something about they had tons of money and then they were on assistance. Where would the tons of money come from? Embezzlement? Could this run in the family? Where Raven learned it? THIS IS PURE speculation and we maybe grasping at straws, but maybe worth looking into?golfmom said:Didn't MYJ reveal that they were on welfare?
Something about being on welfare--I've never been on welfare, per se, but have received section 8 housing assistance, and foodstamps and medicaid, when I was a recently divorced mom with two kids aged 8 and 4.ewwwinteresting said:Hmmm....maybe. Moving from place to place is a real hassle. You have to reapply for everything, and every time you go in to the office for an interview, they want you to bring some other piece of verification of this, that, and the other.
Trust me, it would behoove the "welfare mom" to stay put!
There are enough hassles to go through without that.golfmom said:And not keep changing everyone's name?
Maybe that was his memorial to his wife?newkid said:More myspace

It is such a "duh!" I can hardly believe the LE would not figure this out...I mean the detective has 18 years of experience (according to the warrant). I still go back to my question about whether there is more than two warrants out there.....what about searching the other vehicles and ceasing the computers. Maybe they did that in another warrant??SouthEastSleuth said:WHY DID LE NOT TAKE HIS PDA, JUST THE CHARGER???? (ok, so maybe it wasn't there, or whatever. BUT, hello, two + two here, if there's a CHARGER, then it stands to reason that there MUST be a PDA!!
I can say it! I can say it! When they ran Raven's name in the computer, wouldn't his arrest for embezzlement come up? That, I think, would at least give LE the info that there may just be more to this murder than a burglary that went bad or suicide (or whatever Raven told them at the scene).cappuccina said:...indeed, one wonders why there is no PDA, laptop, and/or desktop on the warrant, or why LE didn't detain "The Rave" for failing to produce, or hiding or destroying these items, which they could have almost immediately after asking him for them, or puting them on the WARRANT...
...can you say "impeding an active homicide invesatigation", boys and girls?
No kidding!! And here I thought search warrants were public accessible (like a court document) and the media obtained it:doh:golfmom said:I think knowing what we know now, it is interesting police actually released the initial search warrant at all.
As tight lipped as they have been WHY did they just hand that one over? What are they trying to tell us by making that document public?
Thanks for pointing out that I didn't read something thoroughly GM:slap:golfmom said:This is from the original article by Eric Olson.
DURHAM -- Durham police made public Tuesday an affidavit with a search warrant in last week's stabbing death of a woman in her home.
