Now talking about suicide risk factors. RZ had 10 of them. Showing a list of the 10 risk factors on the screen PPP.

He is talking about interpreting the painting on the door using Tsuida's statement that they concluded that "Rebecca likely painted the message on the door." So many people have gone on for years about what this message means. IMO the only one who can tell us exactly what that message meant is AS.

Well, Adam could.

The topic of the phase on the door must be just fascinating to Adam since has a BA in American Literature.

Oh, how I remember endless hours in college level literature class analyzing phases.

He would be a bit of an authority to have earned a BA in just such topic matter.

IMO

Webb going over Rebecca’s diary entries...Webb said they were from a few weeks before the incident.

Listening to the testimony by the defense, what is coming across to me is that RZ was a survivor. Not someone who would just give up and commit suicide...IMO

Webb - Now going through plaintiffs paint experts testimony highlighting areas where he could not definitely say AS painted the door...

Webb now highlighting knot tying. Countering arguments that Greer says these are specialist knots, highlighting testimony that they are not specialist knots.

Highlighting plaintiffs witnesses testimony where witnesses could not say it was AS who tied the knots.

***strategy appears to be highlighting any areas from only plaintiffs experts and witnesses that can be interpreted as weak***

Just my opinion...

Didn’t need him because another expert ME would back up his report and Dr Wecht said it was a good report, too - not verbatim

so dr wecht's report and testimony should be disregarded by the jury according to webb yet he than asks the jury to accept that wecht said lucas' report was a good report?

wouldn't it be better for the defense if they called Lucas to testify and than another ME to back him up? that is what i would be thinking if i was a juror. in my opinion it might have been better to not even mention lucas in closing arguments to not bring attention to it, for the defense.

Agree, his comments are doing more harm than good, IMO.

There was a reason for not calling Lucas, and IMO, one was because the ME would have to answer questions about Rebecca’s missing throat/larynx.

Webb now showing loose ropes on RZ wrists on screen, explaining defense witness says this is classic ‘self tie’. Also showing hand holding rope and explaining she tied hands in front and slipped out and put behind back...

RZ not thinking rationally when she committed suicide, but self tying is more common than you would expect.

Two reasons why people self tie ...
One is to ensure they cannot back out
Two They want to make it look like a homicide

Just my opinion....

The defense set it up so that AS could give her a shout-out from the stand, and then Webb tried to give her another howdy-doo yesterday, which Greer objected to, and the judge sustained his objection.

If I'm a juror, I'm thinking this is some very weird stuff.

Greer asked about the girlfriend, and then stated, "She's not really your girlfriend." This is not the defense setting up anything.

Totally agree. That doesn’t make any sense

I am thinking this opened the door for Greer to discuss ME Lucas and his absence(S) in the rebuttal.

Webb Now highlighting testimony about throat injury, highlighting Dr Davis testimony.

Stating length of drop vs neck injuries. Showing screen chart and saying the 9 foot drop fractured all three cartridges on one side of neck.

I will say that Webb has upped his game. He’s much more forceful and compelling than yesterday
