I can't read the motion, it's too small

took me forever to figure out that you click on each page/picture and they get big enough to read.

Just an idle thought - each of us has a hinky meter. For some of us it's more astute than others. Many people will never get close to a psychopath because they can just sense something isn't quite right - like the hair on the back of your neck raising or you noticing their eyes look 'dark' or cold. I've even heard some say they had a literal instinct to run. Others though will ignore, or sometimes not even have, such a gut reaction. It's those people who become a psychopath's victims.

The way a psychopath operates is by appearing, superficially, immensely charming, reasonably intelligent, friendly, gregarious, warm. It's a facade, of course, that will show cracks as soon as the psychopath faces any hostility or calling them out for their behavior. But it's the facade that allows a psychopath to entrap people initially - the more successful the psychopath, the longer victims remain friends, coworkers, and lovers. The least successful have extreme difficulty maintaining any relationships and employment.

Jodi is not a successful psychopath. The 'best' ones make you question your own reality instead of you being able to see a literal web of lies. She doesn't deceive well. She isn't well-versed at evoking sympathy. She isn't even likable - and many 'good' psychopaths can be difficult not to like, at least at times. Until you know better of course.

You hear stories about Travis...he was charming, likable, gregarious - but any comparison to a psychopath would have to stop there. He did for others. He spoke about others. He gave to others. The mark of any psychopath, 'good or bad', begins and ends with me, myself, and I. They are perpetual victims and masters of the universe, both in one, constantly.

I noticed another trait during this Travis, Jodi fiasco that my personal psychopath also did that was similar etc . He had no male friends when I met him, he latched onto me and my friends/family etc as if he had none of his own. I think now it was because he couldnt keep male friends and the only friends he had were ex's or females that he had cheated on me with sex or had been with prior. But he also made sure to go to all my functions/work/friends etc..which at first I found quite endearing but it soon became smothering. I first thought it was good he wanted to know all my friends, all my business but alas, it was just so he had that extra info about me to use in whatever way he wished later. It was all just manipulation etc. I never felt right afterwards introducing any man to my friends etc....I kept my boyfriends away from work, friends etc...right wrong or indifferent it just ruined me that way.

As to Travis dating a very much younger woman, this has to be put into context. This is a skill the DT avoids like ebola.

Travis was having such a good time in the singles ward and essentially frittered the years away by having a good time and not finding someone his age to fall in love with and marry. Faced with his last chance in the singles ward before moving on to the older group, he would be faced with a dearth of women near his age. Most Mormons marry young and he hadn't.

Faced with the reality, Travis wised up and was trying to find someone appropriate for him. Jodi fell within the appropriate age group, but was so wrong for so many reasons.

After breaking up with Deana, he took himself off to the Bishop and confessed. He wanted to work his way back into the good graces of the Church which meant so much to him. How much you want to bet Jodi didn't do the same thing! Instead, she continued to use and abuse Travis, stalking him and plotting his death.

The only reason I can stay calm at this time is that Nurmi is still boring the youngish jury with repeat, repeat, repeat. Juan WILL come to the rescue and bring out all the idiocy of the Alycelavioletteian school of besmirching all men without a whit on context.

The best example of out-of-context in this case are the never-to-be seen "pedophile" letters JA had someone cut a past, copy, and e-mail to Jodi. Wouldn't you just love to see the "originals"???

I don't anticipate Juan getting his turn anytime soon, they still haven't covered the "your the worst thing that ever happened to me" stuff.

That ought to be interesting when/if it comes into evidence. Juan will have a good time pointing out the psychotic behavior of CMJA. Nurmi is on a sinking ship! This jury will, at the very least, sentence CMJA to life without parole! :jail:

After he posted that article, Jodi Arias briefly became relevant again, with even CNN reporting it. He knows no one will go looking for this stuff themselves and he knows if he reports Juan's responses they'll become just as huge as the original allegation. This is an example of his bias. If he was just concerned about getting a scoop, as a previous poster said, then he'd have reported Juan's response just as well. He even tweeted last Wednesday before court what Juan was alleging but "I haven't seen the motion." Oh, you haven't seen it but you know what it says? And no article? Riiiiight.

I think the viruses could be genuine, because they line up with it being signed out that day. But I think the off the grid expert Jodi got destroyed it because he could see there was a more innocent reason why the deletions occurred. OR it was an accident that he damaged it. But providing a mirror image of a random computer???

What's happening? Why would they do that?

I think all of this is Nurmi trying to delay until the COA's decision - IMO he's putting all eggs into one very unlikely basket.

That's last week's reply, there is a new one today talking about what was turned over to them, and asking for sanctions for their failure to comply.

I could be the jury foreman. I would first and foremost ask, plead, beg that we, jurors, set aside all the PsychoBABBLE, since it is basically interpreting words of others, and move on. I have a feeling the remaining days weeks months years millenniums of this hearing is, so unfortunately, going to be nothing more than PsychoBabble!! It could be a short deliberation.

I understand the frustration on PsychoBABBLE, but the jury foreman's task to make sure all jurors are heard and all evidence considered and discussed. The foreman does not get to set aside anything and decide what to move on to. Perhaps, however, if all jurors agreed that the Dr. provided only an interpretive testimony and it could be discounted, well--that could mean 'move on'.
