As far as statement analysis goes the following exchange interested me...when telling the story of what transpired on the 16th, George lets a slight amount of present tense language slip in. If he is recalling from memory (something that really happened in the past) it would all be past tense...it's a small mistake, but it makes me wonder more if the 16th happened as he claims.

VAN SUSTEREN: Do you know where they were headed with the backpacks?

GEORGE ANTHONY: My daughter said that she was going to work, dropping her daughter off at the nanny’s house, and that was it. I give them both hugs, kisses and saw them go out the door like a typical thing that they’ve — that she’s done

VAN SUSTEREN: Nothing out of the ordinary?

GEORGE ANTHONY: Just smiles, hugs. Dad, we’ll see you tomorrow because I might be working a little bit late, type deal. And that was it.
Funny, Casey never mentioned anything about the possibility she might have/was suppose to have had to work late in any of her early interviews...and didn't her drop off time encompass like 4 hours? Again, George, TMI. That's not REALLY what happened. Why is everyone SO vague about some things (like when they dropped their daughter off the very last time they saw her), but crystal clear about others.

What I'm curious about is the laundry basket that Caylee was ultimately found in. Was this laundry basket used in the home or was stored in the garage with the other one. If it was used around the home, then KC would have easly access to it. If it was stored, I can't see that KC would be aware of its presence, kept as it was on a high shelf in the garage wrapped in a plastic bag. GA and CA would be aware of its location, but I can't see KC knowing that. This opens up the possibility that KC did not package the remains, but had help from either GA or CA. IMO I don't think it was CA.
I don't think it was a basket per se, but could be wrong. I believe someone found a pic.

Yes, Casey said in her sworn statement that she dropped Caylee off between 9 and 1, George said they, Casey and Caylee, left the house around noon ? The "9 and 1" time frame doesn't make sense at all, if you leave your daughter at a "nannys'" you are going to remember what time it was, the best she can do is a four hour gap ?

Here's the thing that always bothered me about this story...

That model of car has a trunk that you have to open with a key. (Or at least get in the front and pop it open). If George was already walking to the car, how would Casey be able to push past him, get to the car, get the trunk open, and pull the cans out in time to be shoving them at George by the time he got to the car?

Was he crawling? Does KC have a warp speed? Does she have the ability to stop time? I just don't get it! And I don't understand why no one has asked him this yet.

I don't think I have heard where the cloth laundry bag was kept in the home. It could have been in the house or in the garage, now the matching one they found (during the search warrant) was found in the garage, I believe.

This is a really good question, the story sounded weird to me too. For George to not see in the trunk when he was ahead of Casey to start with, seems a bit hard to believe, given her having to unlock the trunk, etc...I never understood why he would mention the gas incident to start with ,unless he was trying to say I saw in the trunk and there was no body in there, but this is not what he says, atleast in most of his interviews with LE. They have been more than willing to lie about the bad things Casey has done, stealing money, but this gas can theft George throws out there from the beginning, as if it's a major part of the story...I wonder why ?

That's right! She said she left work at about 5 pm. Hardly what I consider working late.
A side note- She also stated in the police report that she had called Zenaidia that morning before dropping Caylee off...

The other thing too, about this video is the smiling and head nodding- this is the video I was describing the other day where you can just SEE he is lying because of that stupid a$$ grin he does every time he lies. This video and the things he stated in it has stuck with me because of the deranged grinning and head bobbing. IMO, after seeing how he acts every other time he lies- he is a lying fool. He should stop lying because he is lousy at it, IMO.

Now cindy on the other hand...

IMO This is just what Morgan was getting at when he said to Cindy "You sure have your dates and times of the events memorized".

Hello all. This has been bothering me for a while. I watched Greta interview the Anthony's way back in the beginning of the case. I remember specifically Cindy took Greta out to the shed and then into the house to talk to George, already sitting on the sofa. Greta asked about the gas cans and Cindy said to ask George.

George told the story about Casey coming by and him getting back the gas cans. I coulda sworn he said he went to the back of the trunk, could see the whole opened trunk and then said: "No Caylee." I can still picture him with his hands up with a "Where's Waldo? expression.

His "story" struck me as so odd- that it actually bothered me and it still does because now he says he didn't get to see in the trunk. Does anyone have a link to that video interview that originally aired on Greta? A while back, I found the transcript and this part was actually missing from it. I know I saw and heard this statement.

Thanks to Patty G. we have what I think you were talking about. It isn't exactly "No Caylee" with hands up, but it is more than found on Greta site.

Thank you Patty G!!!!!
And I remember him saying "No Caylee." I remember he was standing when he said it. Am I nuts?

You are not kidding about George's big *advertiser censored** grin.... This part from the Greta interview included George's big smile...indicator of dishonesty, IMO. Notice the change of subject after he answers with "more than 100%"...I think he was a tad uncomfortable with saying he believed in his daughter "more than 100 percent". I believe he has that same smile when he says that the kidnappers are being watched...

VAN SUSTEREN: George, what about you, 100 percent?

-GEORGE ANTHONY: More than 100 percent. I just had a chance to meet with her on Sunday.

VAN SUSTEREN: And?

-GEORGE ANTHONY: For 43 minutes out of 45 minutes I got a chance to spend with her, all we did was talk about was Caylee, about her birthday, you know, so many different things that are going to be happening here. She wants to be home for that. So I believe my daughter. She's going to be fine, but I want my granddaughter home. She's going to be fine, so...

And he accepts the gas cans, accepts her cursing at him - but DOESN'T get the wedge that he originally requested.

Since she is in the garage, I am guessing that GAs car is in the drive, so how did KC leave the house without GA moving his car to allow her?

Actually, his car was in the garage. According to his testimony during the August 4 interview, she was startled by the fact that he was home. See pages 21 and 22 of this document:

Hope this helps...

That sounds like she came in through the front door, if his car was locked up in the garage where she couldn't see it. Of course, if she had known that "Dad" was home she never would have come into the house, since at that point Caylee was gone.

Oh, my goodness, I think I remember GA saying they left at 12:50pm, which gives KC just ten minutes to drop her off between 9 and 1 timeframe. And you're right whoever said she was going to be late but then said she left work at 5 to pick the baby up. Oh, so many inconsistencies, it does make a body's head swim, doesn't it?

On the Greta interview at 2:08. CINDY says.. George actually saw the back of the car, with gas cans in it, NO ODOR, Georges pipes in and says "no indication of anything else in the car."

Bolded by Me:
I remember this, too, and I am seeing the garage behind him in my mind's eye like maybe it was one of the interviews with media outside the home. Oh, now I don't know what I remember, but I do remember that gesture in regards to what was in the trunk.

I hear ya! So many interviews, different accounts of the same stories...

I remember this too because I was glued to the tv the first few weeks, didn't miss a thing. I remember him saying this because I thought it was a really weird thing to say. No Caylee, uh-uh, not in there, no sir, no way. If he saw inside the trunk of the car, he smelled the smell of the car. If he was anywhere close to the back of the car, he smelled the smell of the car. He's definitely lying.
