I thought with Queen Camilla bringing out new jewels one after the other; it would be nice to have a thread for royal jewels.

Still not over this brooch she brought out recently.

Queen Camilla wore a large heart shaped aquamarine and diamond brooch with a heart shaped pendant. It was announced by Robert Hardman during the service that the brooch was from Queen Elizabeth II’s collection but trondnorenisaksenhistorian has revealed its origins.

Trond, who has been given access to Queen Alexandra’s photographic jewel inventory for a two-part article for Majesty Magazine, has stated in a new post this brooch originally belonged to Queen Alexandra.

Debuted Germany State Visit 2023 - The brooch was a gift from Queen Mary to Queen Elizabeth for her confirmation.
