I have never once believed for a minute she was in the water at PTL. Evidence, yes, I am almost positive evidence is/was in the water. "She left with them" has been haunting me for weeks! Where did they take her?!?! Her family, friends, and community just want her home!

If anyone can find that clip, please post! The fact that I can't find it, leads me to believe it was removed.

FWIW i remember that being stated, as well. Did you search the HE media thread?

It was said sometime when I was behind on my reading :( I read people's comments about it and made a note to go see exactly what the context of it all was and by the time I caught up I couldn't find the source. So it would make sense if it was in a press conference because these threads move and move fast when LE comes out with any formal statements. I was way behind in reading so it had to be at a time when something was announced because I read here every day usually many times a day.
If anyone has a link I'd love to go check it out as well.

I have checked the media thread and could not find it. It had to have been on Feb 24, same day as the press conference. Possibly in one of the interviews immediately following?

It's good to know others remember something about this! I remember reading right here post after post after post for two or three days around that time frame (but a week later because this site was not on my radar until about the 25th) theories of the water, and I kept wanting to register at that time and say "No, not in the water! She left WITH them, they said!" I even said it out loud a few times, and my family kept looking at me strangely. "No, not in the water!"

I held off on registering until I got caught up, though! It took me until about Monday of this week to catch up to the present and a couple of days to get registered and all. Better late than never???

That's exactly what happened, and now we can't find it! We are in the same boat, then! Maybe someone remembers and can find it. But I am ALMOST inclined to say that has been pulled, wherever we saw it.

Well, please let me know when you find it. I certainly don't remember hearing that!

Welcome to WS and MSM. Sometimes what happens is something will be contained in a link and we start discussing it, then for some reason, mysteriously, the link is pulled or that part of the comment within the link is pulled. The longer a case goes on, the more information that's out there disappears and gets pulled. Once that happens and can no longer be supported by MSM, we can no longer discuss it. Happened to me in Dylan Redwine's case. It was something that came out in the beginning of the case, 8 months later I made mention of it to someone who wasn't around when it was first discussed. They wanted a link to it, and several of us who had remembered it tried finding the link and none of us could. So it was as if the information never existed and we were not allowed to discuss it anymore.

So this is my long way of saying that maybe that's what happened to the comment that HE left PTL with the M's.

It was definitely stated by LE at some point. I remember thinking "What? .... or alive?!"

I understand what you're saying. However, I have spent every waking moment of the past 80 days reading every article, listening to every video/news clip, and communicating with my brother. I have not heard this mentioned. Of course, I'm only human ~ so, I could have missed something. If the OP is referring to the PC ~ it's readily available online. I've watched it too many times to count ~ not just listening to the words but also studying facial expressions. I didn't hear the comment about Heather <Mod Snip> leaving Peachtree Landing with the M's (they do not deserve any respect).

:wagon::wagon:

Welcome, Missy Lou. I'm a newbie too.

i don't recall LE stating that Heather was taken away from PTL. what they did say was that kidnapping did not have to mean that she was taken away to another place, but could mean that she was held against her will.

http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/2014/02/24/4052596/couple-to-face-murder-charges.html

"Keep in mind, kidnapping is simply keeping someone from being able to leave,” Richardson said. “We have this idea that you put a bag over their head and take them out of state,” he said. “Anytime you’re unable to leave, it is a kidnapping. I think it would be improper to say we found her blouse or we found her toothpaste or whatever.”

LE believe that Heather was kidnapped and murdered at PTL.

OAN, watched the Nancy Grace interview and Terry Elvis stated that Heather's purse as well as her cellphone was missing. Makes me wonder as far as the purse goes what evidence was found in the home and on the property.

I do recall reading that LE believed Heather left with the Moorers, because it made no sense to me, when they also said that she was harmed at the landing. I was kind of scratching my head over it and I too have been searching for the link tonight, without success.

The reporter is the one who says Heather left with the Moorers. He says "Based on the evidence, Heather drove herself to Peach Tree landing then left with the Moorers." That could just be his interpretation of evidence released.

There are articles referencing the video surveillance in the area of PTL and the police remarks that those videos led to the warrants for the house/property. I too recall something about Heather leaving with the Moorer's. I suppose that could have flowed from discussions we had here? But several people seem to be remembering the same thing.

At any rate, I view it in this way. If the Moorer's kidnapped and murdered Heather after she went to PTL, and the video cameras in the area supported a probable cause warrant at the Moorer's property, and the Moorer vehicles were part of the evidence that was taken that day, it follows Heather left PTL with the Moorer's. Unless you believe she was left there after she was murdered, which I don't, nor do I believe the police believe so. JMO

I do have to say that after the article where the local news stated Heather's car was found at 10:43 p.m. on 12/19, I don't put a lot of stock in the media's version of things based on what someone supposedly said.

And there it is. I thought I'd seen it in print too, albeit a media presumption, which is not the first time.

Yes, the reporter does say Heather left with the Moorers. Reporters should not be 'interpreting'. WMBF appears to be doing that a lot. The LE officials interviewed spoke of both evidence and DNA but did not say where either was located. They seem to be misspeaking on that too. They just need to let the case unfold in due course. We can wait, right? Public's right to know should not trump the investigation or the prosecution of the case, imo.

Remember the saying, "good things come to those who wait" ? I believe that HCPD will prove that to us. JMO.

Thank you so much, GhostWheel!

It makes me sad to see another thread here and Heather hasn't been found. Since Sunday is a slow news day, I'm hoping for some fresh material this coming week.

I am so hoping LE has so much evidence to go through and possible witnesses to speak to that keeping it all under wraps and sealed will give the best results.

However, if there is anything where there is no trail to a logical end, I would hope LE would put out a few teasers for us to follow up.
