John Marvin has been rehearsing his testimony for a long time. He will do anything to help save bro Alex's hide, lie, cheat, steal, dispose of guns, tow boats, etc.

He is a much calmer speaking Alex model, but a salesman nonetheless.

MOO
I do believe he loved Paul, and I also think he is in denial that the brother he has loved all their lives could ever do something to horribly Evil to his family. He is wrong, of course, but I feel a bit sad for him. Of all the players, my gut says he' may be the only OK family member. He wasn't involved in all the Law slime, but none of us knows. OTOH, witnesses are Always prepped ahead of testimony.

It sounds to me that SLED thinks AM or the Murdsughs killed Paul and MM. and the Murdsughs act like SLEd agents killed MM and PN.
They’re all just one big crime family (Murdsughs and LE). Apparently they all knew MM and PM had to die.
We will never know the back story but it’s really dirty.

Hope this helps.

JMM went back up to Moselle. SLED said they needed to come into the house and search for things. JMM says he escorted agent Katie McCallister throughout the house. She said there were so many people in the house, she said she didn’t want to go barging in.

JMM: McCallister said she would take her badge and gun off. She wanted to be walked through each room. She was looking for 12-gauge shotguns and ammo and .300 Blackout rifles and ammo. "I took her through every room.”
thank you. Im still confused lol Ill go back and watch/listen....he was saying this was the morning....where was AM?

This has bothered me so much. WHY wasn’t this crime scene, including the house SECURED??? NOBODY should’ve been tromping around the property AT ALL. It has always made me wonder, was this *good ol’ boy* investigating, or just ineptitude?
Negligence, incompetence or influence? We'll probably never know. JMO.

(SBM) "folks converging in the middle of a crime scene..."

Yes, agreed. What's wrong with this picture? A double homicide, multiple individuals with backgrounds in LE and law school, and all of them just tromp, tromp, tromping around -- and through -- the middle of the crime scene?

Mind-boggling.
No one even thought a murderer could be hiding for a massacre!? Ha! No concern!

I have JM muted now. Relying on y'all for news about his testimony. I wonder if the defense will try to run out the clock on today's proceedings via good ol' bestest boy brother to let the day end on what defense believes will be an up note.

IMO, buddy attitude...the M name was cause to pause. as his brother just testified, he was calling a police chief FRIEND in another county.

Of course the first thing you do when your wife and son are shot to death, call your brothers, law partners, lawyer friends, anybody that can be of service to you in the upcoming days.

John Marvin was the first to arrive back to Moselle the next morning by himself? Hmmmmmmm? Very interesting.

That is so strange. Its not normal to call that many people to come over. Typically it’s just a few people. It takes time to gather yourself and process what is happening.

You don’t have to be a lawyer to know that a crime scene shouldn’t be disturbed. I wouldn’t want several people around while trying to focus on the next steps.

I think John Marvin makes for a good witness. And he is going full throttle in support of his brother. No hesitation. Hopefully the jury is not swayed by this.
He’s the little brother. A loyal little brother who loves his family, especially his nephew Paul. He may be in denial, but I get that.
