He made an interesting point about the surveillance video. The whole idea of a surveillance system is to document video of an incident that occurs so that if something comes up in the future you can review it. The video should have been archived right away to preserve it, as anyone who owns one of these systems knows there is a finite amount of storage space on them, and if the video of the incident is not archived right away it will eventually be overwritten and lost for all time. If Gus Coletti’s property had been vandalized would he have waited until an investigator asked for the video before attempting to archive it? I don’t think so. It was in Peter Hackett and Joseph Brewer’s interest that the video not be preserved. Gus Coletti is fooling no one in this clip, and the clip makes him look like a fool.

Hi Windsor.. you make a good point about Michael Pak, but Alex Diaz would have a motive to attack Brewer because he was emotional about finding answers as to what happened to Shannan. Joseph Brewer may have sensed some aggression coming from Alex Diaz.

Also, I’m sure Joseph Brewer would’ve surmised that he was dealing with shady people in an illegal business and that they had the potential to become violent.

White Rabbit—remember that Ray’s (representing Gilbert estate) is a civil suit. So in that sense, he’s got the right guys to hold accountable, at least in part, for SG’s death.

In my opinion and based on the facts available to the public, Peter Hackett is responsible for the death of Shannan Gilbert. Michael Pak, without initially intending to, is complicit in her death.

I think Peter Hackett had decided while in the presence of Michael Pak, and without a full understanding both her medical history and toxicology, to medically treat Shannan Gilbert with some type of drug to calm her down, which subsequently resulted in her death while leaving Oak Beach in the company of Michael Pak, and in Michael Pak's vehicle.

The treatment ultimately caused Shannan Gilbert to become unresponsive while in Michael Pak's vehicle. He panicked. Rather then call an ambulance, take her to the hospital or report the situation to the authorities, he decided to dump her body in the marsh behind Peter Hackett's property. He then left her belongings in the vicinity of Peter Hackett's house in an attempt to implicate him, if and when it was suspected foul play was involved in her disappearance.

**Side note: It is customary for an escort be paid up front and there was no cash in Shannan Gilbert's purse when it was found.**

Though I believe Joseph Brewer is no doubt guilty of patronizing prostitution, and did something to put Shannan Gilbert in fear for her life while in his premises, I don't believe he is directly complicit with Peter Hackett and Michael Pak. He may be indirectly complicit if he supplied Shannan Gilbert with either legal or illegal drugs, and those drugs ended up causing complications with the unauthorized medical treatment Peter Hackett performed on her.

Yes, and John Ray’s objective, in representing SG, is to attempt to hold those parties responsible for her death. The SG 911 call is pertinent to the case, which is why he was ultimately awarded a copy of it, albeit w. a very explicit gag order…
So considering that Ray has heard the contents of the call, and KNOWS the information that was communicated on the call, his allegations re: specific individuals in relation to larger LISK case implies that her case is, in fact, connected to the larger LISK investigation.
