I live in Texas and grew up here , but I lived in Minneapolis for a year when I was 20 and my roommates couldn't believe I actually said "fixin to..." whatever.

They also didn't know what I was referring to when I said "billfold."

This guy named Jim Everhart wrote these volumes of how to speak texas.

Stuff like:

Heidi yawl. Youston is a beg, beg city.

I loved those books.

I also looked up the psychological effects of being in solitary confinement last month and found this scholarly article and bookmarked it (it's long, but enlightening). You might like to read it. :seeya:

I don't think missy :jail: is feeling the effects yet: she hasn't really been in solitary that long (wait until she's there for 10-20 years- even if she gets DP or LWOP). I don't feel that she is in touch with reality and she thinks she will get out of this mess she has made of her life somehow (by some miracle, IMO). She's in La-La Land (I think she has always lived there, IMO).

I also think she will still be arrogant in the next phase of her trial, as she has been before. After all; she is right and everyone is wrong. No accepting responsibility about her actions in anything she does or has done in her life. She is soulless.

Hi YesorNo, you are right. She does not realize the severity of her situation. I have been thinking this over , have concluded she will act the same at this penalty trial as she has all along. When she is sentenced she will blame her Attorneys for the sentence. She will be ready to go for an appeal. I kmow I read (S.P.) he was able to file sooner if he had the money to pay for an atty. If a P.D. he'd have to wait. Thats why she wants the money. I still think she thinks there is a chance for manslaughter which we all know there isnt :banghead: many here know she doesnt live in reality now and wont change soon.:floorlaugh: She wont go nuts for a while that is until she realizes she is scr**$. Then they better look out. :floorlaugh:

I heard there are no tornado warnings up at the present time. We had high winds and torrential rain for awhile but now its just wind. Illinois was hit very bad. So far they have 5 dead. There was one f4 tornado touch down in Ill..We have a chance yet for thunderstorms all night. Southern Ohio had damage also. Parts of Kentucky are a shambles. Tried to think where Tulessa lives but couldnt remember....Stay safe.:seeya:

FYI...There's speculation on other web places that someone other than VW is writing all that blather in her name. Given the number of ethical lines VW would be crossing to pipe up now- for no reason whatsoever--it makes more sense this is a hoax pro- butcher poster, not VW.

TY Hope4More, that makes sense. I did see those posts yesterday and traced it back to the original FB page, which looked legit to me, but it really does not make sense that she would be posting those things.

Then again, there have been so many unusual things in this trial. Even the mitigation specialist was tweeting at one time...to Michael Kiefe, no less.

I'd be grateful if you would provide links to the web places you mentioned.

The speculation is taking place on the Travis Alexander FB page. People have looked at the FB of the person representing herself as the Victoria Washington and it appears that this poster may very well be the public defender appointed to represent CMJA earlier on. The FB is years old. The picture of Victoria Washington matches that of one on a blog piece attributed to Victoria Washington. This same blog mentions her partner, and that partner is a FB friend of Victoria Washington, along with Jennifer Sussman Willmott.

There is enough information to support that this may in fact be the real Victoria Washington. I've sent an email to the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office to bring this to their attention. If it is fraudulent, they should shut down the account and make a disclaimer. If it is bona fide, they should investigate further to determine if an ethical breach has occurred and address the matter.

Began with the blog you linked to, then tracked some of the Twitter-ers discussing the VW broohaha.

After chasing it down more, though, have concluded its really her. From what I've read I agree with those thinking VW might be a bit clueless about what kind of online company she's hanging out with on that FB page, or that her comments in one social media (Twitter) would be transferred to others (FB) by others. Looks like part of what happened is that she got a tad bit hijacked.

That said, her opinions speak for themselves. Loudly. She doesnt even have her facts straight, and her affinity and tears for murderous psychopaths is just plain bizarre, IMO.

What's clear is that she loathes JM, and apparently that goes way back. Not sure if its true or not, but one thing I read was that she is (or was ?) representing on appeal several of the ugly folk that JM successfully prosecuted. So maybe really personal on several levels. Amazing how many professionals who have gone up against JM have allowed their battered egos to trump their common sense, ethics, and professional decorum. Geez. Even my 11 year old knows how to lose with more grace than Kiefer and LV and Dr. S. , etc. etc. Guess VW can be added to the list of bitter losers.

Our posts overlapped. We agree. I'm glad you notified the PD office! The upside, imo, is...she spoke out as she did & her rather vicious comments were spread all over social media, but not one news outlet picked up on the " story.". Interest in all things JA seems all but gone. One big reason I'm thrilled the retrial won't be televised.

Regarding the FB comments and Victoria Washington, I have also contacted an Arizona attorney who has been following the CMJA case and this attorney will look into the matter. Don't want the guilty verdict put into jeopardy.

And whoa, George Zimmerman in the news again. The charges include a long barreled shotgun. He's being detained overnight all by himself in a solitary cell for his own protection.
