I just finished watching the news....and just realized for days now there has been no mention of the felon on national news, of course our local news would not carry that. On social media sites I am on, the updates are very few. I also have checked here but am not glue to any news of the felon any more.

The felon is being old news and people are forgetting her...even though there was some new things happening, the news was not being reported like before. That is so good!

No one will ever forget Travis and his family...they will forever be remembered.

There has been much written that Diana was a borderline personality. She did have several of the hallmarks, stalking (London police threatened to charge her for this), fears
of abandonment, eating disorders, self harm by cutting, unstable relationships,
eratic moods, suicide attempts, the list goes on. On one hand she seemed the gentlest of people, others saw a completely different side of her. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

Sorry, but I completely disagree.

Arias' sociopathy and personality disorder(s) are not "added extras" to a basket of problems. They are her problem. Period.

What's more, Princess Diana's troubles are symptomatic of a person who was, if anything, too human. Hence on the one hand she suffered from debilitating insecurities, leading to eating disorders and so forth, while on the other, she was enormously empathetic and compassionate - people literally felt this.

Arias, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. Hollow. Empty. Unfeeling. And utterly toxic.

Breaking down Nurmi's plea: with just relevant parts and fluff deleted, IMO

Miss Arias should not be held to suffer because of what the media has done. If the media causes a mistrial, if we have a mistrial by media, so be it. The state never opposed any of the media motions. They wanted them in here so they could exploit these proceedings just as much as the media. So, Your Honor, we believe that we have the right to go forward and litigate the issue on its merits, and when it’s done, it’s done and then we move forward.

I don't understand why Nurmi thinks the media will cause a mistrial. The media was forced to appeal because he wanted to stop the trial for the "secret" witness.

He will cause the mistrial if he gets to hold up this trial because he needs to have his witnesses go in some kind of order.

If the jury is available 'til 12/18, does that mean that they are not obligated to stay as jurors until the end of January (good way to cause another mistrial because you may lose
jurors who cannot stay on 'til January if the jurors drop to below 12 :scared.

I understand what you are trying to say, but Diana didn't need saving- she only needed to get her husband away from herself and divorce his azz- which she did. She didn't need someone who had no respect at all for her- that's why she had "baggage" (her husband was the "baggage", IMO). She was so young when she married him. He had baggage and her name was/is Camilla. I'm sure Diana was in love with Charles in the beginning, but how could that love continue with an adulterer husband? He made her insecure (attach any disorder you want here, it doesn't matter). She had a good heart and did so many good things in her short life- unlike narcissistic missy:jail: . No one should speak about Princess Diana and missy:jail: in the same breath, IMO. There's nothing to compare. :moo:

Wow, I've seen this before, and I cannot believe how completely defensive this woman is. She is defending herself with every word she utters, trying to appear unbalanced, but constantly defending herself. She does not fool me at all. It's so pathetic.
