What an absolutely awesome heartfelt story. I am teary eyed. It was just such a beautiful story. I am in a genealogy chat room which meets 9 pm EST until whenever. We have a person we have deemed our in house dog whisperer. She volunteers at a dog shelter that does not euthanize any animals and has excellent skills with dogs. She has had a few favorites until they were eventually adopted ..and two of her very favorites were pit bulls. We both agree that pit bulls have been given a bad rap. Thank you very much for sharing your story. (JMO)

Both my daughter and I watch Pit bulls and Parolees every week! We love that show.

There I was yesterday working and and on WS reading the tweets and pretty bored
until Juan jumped up for cross. My oh my did that change my disposition. What a passionate guy, ready to get at the truth. Can't wait for more today but what will the morning sidebar consist of. How is your grand-nephew doing?

After two weeks, he's out of the Tampa ICU burn unit and was moved to the pediatric floor. He can't speak or see much other than colors they believe. Time will tell as they are waiting to reevaluate him and give him time to heal so they know the longer term issues. He no longer has 13 specialists coming every day... The local media at WTSP did an article and television segment on him showing pictures of him on day 1 to educate folks what to look for, info on the previous young one who had his very room at the hospital and sadly died from SJS/TENS complication of MRSA, and a general educational piece on Steven Johnsons Syndrome (although facts in the article are wrong, go figure).

Thanks for asking... it's gonna be a long road to recovery
