Well,...........la dee dah.

This is NOT cool.

Another foot/ankle specialist that DOES take my health plan.............and they're booked for 2 weeks.
Now I'm waiting to call another specialist in Flagstaff, like about 50 minutes north of me, while the referral from my MD is sent through the fax/web/whatever.

And if this doc can't see me, then my doc is going to try Cottonwood, same old 50 minutes.

Like, REALLY?
I could have just slapped Popsicle sticks and duct tape on my foot, put an old horse shoe on my heal and been done with this.
This break is just an hour shy of being 7 days old.

I don't know whether to cry or swear.:gaah:

Bernina, Do you this this is a "New Mexico thing"? I'm asking because I'm a transplant to New Mexico from Massachusetts. I've lived in NM only 8 years, but I sometimes feel like I've been transported into the Dark Ages in terms of health care in this state vs. what I received in MA. (Aside from that I DO love NM)

Oh Bravo ~ I remember that "pup" during the 1st trial for the psychopath goddess!
You had her picture on your avatar. I love black Labs! My cousin has one and that dog is a riot. She is so sneaky. She will "steal" any thing she can find that is yours, and then bring it to you to "show" you what she had. That was her "game." Then she would take off with it so you would chase her. She found out quickly that if you gave her a dog biscuit, she would gladly trade your shoe, (or what ever she had) for that biscuit.
Labs are so smart!

We had taken a trip to Louisiana to meet up with another cousin one summer. When we got home, my cousin had three $100.00 bills left over and she laid them on the counter. About 15 minutes later, here comes Shelby (the lab) with those 100 dollar bills in her mouth! It was so funny, although my cousin didn't think it was :giggle: We both chased her with dog biscuits, but hey... she liked this game and now she had two people chasing her. After 10 minutes are so, she finally gave them up...but they were soaked and one had to be taped back together. I had tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard...my cousin, not so much. She was NOT amused.

Mine's a black Lab too, big baby!!! Just don't tell the door-door salespeople that!

Well, Linda kinda says all there is to say about that one, doesn't she? :D

I think we should name this one Cucarachagate, LOL!!!:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Well don't laugh all you peeps from the East Coast and Canada and New England. You guys have been talking about having up to 4 feet of snow... and - 17 wind chills :cold:
Well, we got our snowstorm and COLD weather I was talking about. It's still snowing BTW ~
Remember I jokingly said they would have to close Kentucky down ? Well here ya go: :giggle:

I went out and tried to clear a small path of snow for my "mutt" to do her business. She walked in the path for about 2 seconds, and then took off to the middle of the yard to pee...OMG it was so funny. She is a medium sized dog, and the snow totally covered her legs. All you could see was the top of her body and head, running around like a fool. She loves it! Crazy pup....I love her so much!

Oh Bernina, so sorry to hear this. Bless your heart.
If anybody can make a cast, you can! Take care and keep that foot elevated if you can set still long enough

Icing it too will help with inflammation. And maybe baby aspirin. That's what I had to do for 8 weeks when I broke my ankle.

It's an "Arizona Thing" too, LOL! I just don't get really, really, hurt.....last time was maybe 20 years+ ago and I dislocated my ankle, x-ray tech at the ER unknowingly popped it back in it's socket halfway through the series. The ER doc was going "what....?"

As it stands, my MD says go to the ER and they'll have an Ortho specialist on call and they can get a cast on it. I'm not going to drive (hey, I can't drive, everything we've got has a clutch in it!) more than a half hour to get this thing taken care of. So tomorrow, I'm going to be at the ER in the morning, don't know if we'll see court for CMJA, but you'll know where I'm at!

Hey Macky, you must be close to me. I am right by Louisville in southern Indiana. Right on the Ohio River.

Got bored and read some of the "Dark Side". Their conspiracy theories are pretty far out there, and it's funny seeing them try to re-invent the photos from the camera, and that particular camera CAN have it's shutter depressed by dropping, hitting something, whatever, it protrudes above the main part of the camera.

Now: the photo of CMJA dragging Travis? Well, she already mentioned to Flores that she had 2 pair of pants with the zippers and stripe on the side, NOW that image of the pants is either a Mesa PD officer's leg or a pillow that Travis is lying on. :floorlaugh: It's funny because you go back to previous "threads" or dates, whatever, and they have a totally different idea that shoots the most current one to pieces.

They're playing with photoshop, like the WS peeps are over on the Retrial thread, just different pictures. Maybe I'll dabble with it a bit.............ha, ha!

Anyone else get the creepy feeling ol' Gus knew more than he said? For some reason, I think he knew CMJA's motivation for getting the Helio phone. I also think he had the hots for CMJA, and didn't like TA. JMO. Gus gives that creepy, "don't leave your girlfriend or kids around him and know where your wallet is at all times" kind of weirdo vibe.

Was -10 degrees last night and about 12 degrees today. :coldcase:

Lost electric power this AM for about 4+ hours 'til about 1:00 or so- no heat! :scared: I was so worried that the pipes would freeze.:scared:

Feels like we are in the frozen tundra this week. Wonder how people lived without heat and electricity.

I'm so grateful for heat and electricity.

I feel so sorry for the Queen when she has to go out to do her business. Wish I had the money for an indoor bathroom just for her.

Well, howdy neighbor!!! Yes, I've lived in the Ville my whole life. Well almost. I moved over on Riverside Drive in Jeffersonville Ind. for about 6 months waaaay back when I briefly worked as a bartender at the Galt house. Me and a fellow worker rented a house about 10 ? doors down from Rocky's. It was a beautiful big old house that faced the river, and we rented the first floor. Do you live In Jeff ?

Stay warm and safe everyone who is going thru the cold this week. :blowkiss:

LMAO Yes the life with a Lab. I totally hear u. We had 2 dogs and cat when the kids grew up. It was so dang hard when they died Hubby and I said never again. We will just luv animals from afar. Yes we survived so far with Missum Avery-that's what I call her since she was born and brought up from the South. Avery actually moved out with the Son last Nov. when he and Fiancee bought a house. So I babysit. She is beyond amazing out in the field Duck hunting. At home a Marmaduke. Thief. Will steal anything not locked down. Then game on. We gently remind our duck hunting friends if off season could you not wear your camo shirt when u drop in for a coffee. She loses her mind and wants to work. Night and day- Daughter got a rescue Lab. Miss Molly. A bit younger but much calmer. So they are our Grands for now and we luv them more than life. We have Canadianized Missum Avery as she has a little rubber stix toy that she pushes her ball with. We just say get your stick and lets play hockey. That can go on for hours LOL We have to keep her active since she is a hunting dog. I just wish I could bottle some of the energy. Many days I sit here trying to keep up with trial while tossing the ball every 5 seconds LOL Sad how fellow man can treat each other when so many here would lay down their lives to save an animal. Thanks for remembering Missum Avery and her avatar. After Trial I will have my 2 Lab Grands as my avatar.

It's so darn cold. I may look stupid but I am wearing a Northface jacket under my coat.
I just don't care how it looks. I am going to stay as warm as I can.

Oh my YoN, what made your electricity go out? That is always my biggest fear since we had that freak wind storm in September of 2008. With hurricane-force wind gusts (thank you Ike) that knocked out power to 300,000 people. I had no electricity for 8 days. And if that wasn't bad enough just 4 months later in Jan. 29 2009 we had a Ice storm that closed everything with 700,000 homes and businesses without power! We couldn't even find a hotel, they were all booked! It took 10 days to get my electricity back. We stayed with a friend of my daughters families home! I did not even know this family, but they were very kind to take my family in, as they were one of the few that did not lose their power. I will be eternally grateful to them.
Now , every time my power goes out I panic! Glad your's came back on!!!!

I love that DIY link you posted. I book marked it.
