Ok how come I can't get the video to show on the thread instead of the link to the video? Someone help a woman out......is it something to do with Windows 8? I used to be able to do it on our old computer that had Windows 7.

Buffalo Springfield - For What Its Worth (good sound quality!) - YouTube

??????

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, now, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

I am only on page 37 but I just wanted to thank all of you for admitting to your depression. I have lived with my 'dark cloud' for 20+ years and have tried many different medications. I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome as well as being a chronic pain patient due to many cervical/lumbar spine issues. I am not telling you this to gain sympathy, like another poster was informing you of celiac disease and gluten allergies I need you to look into something else that I was just diagnosed with!
My depression and fatigue had been getting much worse since around September (plagued with suicidal thoughts but never acting on them), going to bed as soon as I got home from work and sleeping until the next morning, weekends were no longer for family or social time as I would crawl into bed as soon as I got home on a Friday and pretty much stay there until Sunday when I would absolutely have to get up to do laundry for my work week.
January of this year I began to have severe migraines (always suffered headaches), this was something I had never felt before and it felt like I was going to die from them...then came vertigo along with severe nausea and vomiting, my body also felt like it had the flu. I first saw my family physician who ordered a brain MRI and blood work after hearing my symptoms. MRI came back fine but blood work showed my thyroid being hyperactive which was strange due to my symptoms mimicking hypoactive thyroid disease as well as anemia. I then saw my rheumatologist who referred me to an endocrinologist as well as nuerologist and ENT specialist...at this time my symptoms/depression were so severe that I took FMLA because I could barely drive with the vertigo let alone take care of patients. The endocrinologist was extremely thorough, ordered more blood work and found that my cortisol and dhea levels were extremely low...he was surprised I was even standing up! He put me on a medicine called dexamethasone immediately and set me up to have more labs that must be done in the hospital...it turns out that both my pituitary and my adrenal glands are not functioning properly which can create all types of issues including depression, fatigue, bone/muscle pain, etc!
Please find an endocrinologist to check your hormones if you are not feeling well. I cannot begin to tell you how relieved I am to finally have a reason for all of my problems! I am sorry for the long post but I just needed to share with you :blushing:. I wish you all well and am so sorry that many of you are suffering with depression...out of all of my symptoms this is truly the worst I have ever had to deal with!

Just in case some miss this. Such a :loveyou: post from the 1000 Places thread:

Jodi will never know what it feels to be a grandmother to 2 granddaughters. The love, the silliness, the giggles, the storys we share, rocking a baby to sleep as you sing to her a song she will remember for ever. Popcorn and movies and making forts in the living room. She will never hear the words "Grandma I love you to the moon and back again", she will never truly understand the true meaning of the color pink, the never ending hugs. she will never be a grandma. Another of God's gift.

Well, I wasn't able to have any children, so neither will I.

Random question as I'm watching HLN reruns... who is the lady that sat next to JA's mom and aunt, or at least in the same row, throughout the trial... short spiky hair that's reddish/blond, maybe 50 years old-ish.

Happy Memorial Day, all :seeya:

Ok instead of enemas can we play the "what's your *advertiser censored* name" game?

You take the name of your first pet as your first name and the name of the street you grew up on as your last name.

I am Candy Bishop

I'm Tiger Staffordshire! Ha!
