Thanks for the link, I was able to read about 20 pages for free preview... LG, I think you could right a better book.

Basically, society does not want to convict a young mother of the horrible crime of murdering her child.

It was not her childhood that made her do it - it was her adulthood that did.

CA and GA are enablers and, JB convinced the jury that OCA was the victim. The end.

Yes, what little I read impressed me with how she grasps that concept (of people refusing to believe mothers kill their children along with the belief that if your mother doesn't love you then who will) at the beginning.
Because I think that's where Baez really played the jury and also somewhat played the general public. People were on the fence about whether or not this was an accident because they could not "get" that this average looking wasp female with her life ahead of her could murder her beautiful 2.5 year old child. Found it hard to believe when FCA had so many other avenues of escape than murder.
Every since I watch Susan Smith beg for her babies return on camera and "knew" she was lying, I have no problem accepting that mothers can and do kill their young to" improve" the mother's life. But many people simply cannot comprehend it.

One actually is trying to tell me that joses book is doing better than jeff ashtons.. because it has more reviews lol..

I saw that. Those two unusual people have everything backwards. Kind of comical to read their carp. Neither one makes any sense at all. They are friends now. Isn't that special?

I had to hop over there to do a little reading. My first thought was this guy has to be JB's alter ego or perhaps FCA's. If not, then it may be the guy who owns the boots and cowboy hat that FCA was trying on shortly after her release. You know the photo, the one where she is wearing dark blue long sleeved sweats and she's sitting on the floor with the baskets of clothes behind her and she's wearing men's cowboy boots. The first two thoughts are probably closer. Take your pick. Looking at the photo of DM it appears to be either a photo of a magazine pic or a photo of a print out of a pic. It just has that graininess to it.

I only read a few of them - was there any in particular you think I should have read? I scanned them pretty quickly...

Sorry lg, just came back and saw your question. The first one I recall reading was something about wasting her life reading it. lol Others were just about the poor grammar, punctuation, etc.

Were the 60 including the bookstore employees? I looked at a few pics and he was always sitting by himself...i didnt see any of him actually interacting with anyone and signing books.

Yes, the standing could have been bookstore employees for sure. Some could have been his own employees, friends, etc.

He posted the pics on his FB page. I would not friend him but saw the picture elsewhere.

Just saw a pic from Jose's book signing. He said there was a standing room only crowd.

Being generous, I'd count about 60 people. I have no doubt he brought about 1/3 of them along with him.


On the other hand, this was Jeff Ashton's first book signing;
