All perfect questions, I am asking myself these also.

But I do know she has supporters who send her money, now, wondering exactly how much, but it could be a few thousand or so total?? Like $2,000-$3000 over these many months. And you can receive so much $$ in "gifts" before you have to report it to the IRS. These supporter people do exist.

I just wonder if they can only ask if FCA received $$ DIRECTLY from CA/GA/Foundation. Or does an "indirect donation", for example as you mention that church, that didn't go directly to FCA, but was a "quid pro quo" kind of deal (if it happened), i.e.,

"Here Church, have a nice donation of $30,000", Quid Pro Quo - Please feed and house FCA for 6 months and take care of all of her needs", or whatever.......

same with whoever else she stayed with, "Here People housing/feeding/clothing FCA, we will pay you for her keeping her safe from all of the death threats, so here is $15,000," Quid Pro Quo - Please feed and house FCA for 8 months and take care of all of her needs."

Or, does anyone who has housed FCA really belong to some other charity/church/, et c., where money was again given in the GUISE of a donation????

Since this was not $$ DIRECTLY paid to FCA, or even given for a REASON directly for FCA, like "donation to church", people donate to churches all the time, or like "security", not directly TO FCA.

Even though we would KNOW $$ given like that IS for FCA, the LEGAL meaning might not suffice for this purpose, kwim? Smart people who are involved in these kinds of things HIDE $$ all the time. I'm just hoping they AREN"T as smart as they THINK THEY ARE :rocker: :please:

Anyway, that is why I hope we can read the actual Ruling, I want to see EXACTLY what kinds of records they can request/subpoena and from whom.

or, conversely, if FCA just says "no", I have not received $$ directly from the Foundation, is that the end of the story????

Will be very very interesting!!!!! :woohoo:

Well, I know i couldn't exist on 2 or 3000 for a year that includes housing, food, personal products, money to dye my hair blonde and get a few piercings and some new glasses, plus a computer and recording equipment so I could do video diaries....plus a camera....:what:

So for me the question is okay, so if you didn't receive donations from the charity foundation and you aren't a charity foundation, what exactly did you live on and how did you pay for the above?

Back up against the wall I think.....

here's a video interview of ZGs attorney (John Dill and with Matt Morgan hanging in the background):

http://www.telly.com/RRJUG?fromtwitvid=1

scroll down that page for more videos...

Woo Hoo!! Worth a watch, can't WAIT to see how this ZG trial plays out!!

the attys. mentioned Book Deals, etc., so HOPEFULLY this will put the KIBOSH on her Big Interview Debut or any book deals until next year, FURTHER delayed = even LESS $$$$ offered !!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

IMO, MOO< ETc.

I just threw that 2-3000 $$ figure in there, but it could be more, not saying she could LIVE on it, but it could explain some purchases of personal effects. I actually think she has received MORE, also any individual, Mason, etc. can give her "gifts" I think up to $12,000 ($13,000?), so throw a few of those in there. I am just saying she can receive $$ that she doesn't have to report,

I'm asking what LEGALLY will be able to be asked, and received :moo: Not just what someone wants to know.

I don't think the gist of what I am saying is being understood here, or that I could possibly know what I am talking about, but that is usually the case with some people who always know best or all, so, whatev !! :woohoo:

I think her main source of income is the A's and the 'foundation' money from Dr Phil. Cheney Mason spouted off about how her supporters were sending her lots of money ,so his words may come back to haunt him now - when she was in jail we saw what her fans sent her, it amounted to a few dollars at a time mostly from guys who fancied her.... no serious donors in sight I am sure, unless she has talked to Larry Flynt.
IMO

Judge: Casey Anthony must turn in finance info to attorneys

I truly believe that this lawsuit, and Tim Miller's, will rattle a few cages. I wonder how much money they will offer ZFG to go away as the trial date approaches.

Boo, they could always offer a Settlement, couldn't they?? But I don't think at this point ZG would even accept it, or I HOPE not, anyway, I think Morgan wants this to go to trial................... and I hope ZG also does, as she is the client with the final say-so.

I really HOPE this goes to trial! It will be quite interesting!!

ETA: FCA, knowing she is all-powerful and can "win" at anything because she is an Anthony, would probably not even consider offering a settlement, but she MIGHT if she just wanted this whole thing to go away so she could get on with promoting her "brand", lock up and give her big interview, and get this "thing" away from hanging over her head for many more months. Normally though, FCA I don't think would ever "settle" anything, but....... Wonder what her attys. are advising her???

If she did receive money, whether from JB, CA or random people doesn't that mean she lied to Probation for the past year?

No sorry - I didn't mean to lead you down the garden path - I did understand what you are saying.
I was asking - even if she is allowed to declare whatever the total is in gifts, can't she also be asked what her expenses were during the past year...and the totals compared - if that makes any sense....

If an settlement offer is made, and our esteemed attorneys can let us know how it works, ZFG must seriously consider the offer, because I think it may go like this....

If ZFG refuses the settlement offer and goes to trial... two things must happen:

1. ZFG must win her case
2. ZFG must be awarded more that the settlement offer

If both of the above does not happen, ZFG may be on the hook for OCA's attorney fees - which could be more that what she could be awarded.

I wonder if the ramifications of a settlement would "drift" over to the Tim Miller case. How can someone who has no money make a settlement, etc?
And what about those pesky taxes?
I want to be really clear I have no idea how all of this works - at all! I've asked the question over in the legal thread for AZLawyer to see if she can give us some insight before I go completely off track with my imaginings...

Hey!! Wenwe4!! Long time!!:loveyou: Happy to see you back again! It's been ages!

Yes, makes perfect sense! Thanks! Glad to also see questions asked in the lawyers thread by you and a few, better than having me and us speculate here all day.

This is all quite interesting, and knowing it aggravates the daylights out of FCA, her attys, those who said all along this case would be THROWN OUT before it even got to trial, yes, THOSE FOLKS, this all has been quite the turn of events!!

:moo: IMO, MOO, etc.

Bah - AZLawyer just corrected me over on the legal thread - the probation report asks if she was employed.....:banghead: no questions about receiving gifts...

The part about who pays the tax on gifts was very interesting ...I'm sure Lippman made sure the foundation paid taxes on any gift they made to FCA.

Wait a minute - legal talk makes my head hurt. Do foundations pay taxes on gifts.....:banghead:

I have to ask the legal questions NavySubMom because I am such a disaster at legal stuff. I think it should follow some logical process and just when I think I've found the answer - the law sub-divides itself again and down another chute I go.....:waiting:

For me it's a lot like that old game "Snakes and Ladders"....:floorlaugh:

Except for Mason, didn't he come out and say FCA wasn't "fat"?

Yes, he did, but I give his statements as much credence as I would anything said by KC, the A's, or JB. Simply not credible, IMO.

Me too, but the point is he knew that she was upset by the comments made about her. She went to Blockbuster after her child died, but gets upset because people she doesn't know call her fat. Can you say Narcissist?
