Thanks, Beach!!
Now that we're back...have you heard anything about MM's big reveal? I've seen him pop in recently. I haven't missed anything, have I? :)

Haven't seen anything RR0004. I have a feeling we'll have to wait until the appeal and/or civils suits are done. Bottom line, it'll be decades before we get to learn what MM has. Off to cry now, made myself sad. :tears:

Where are the drinks for the "sidebar"! It's 10:15, and I'm ready after so long! I too as others thought "gosh, did I conrtribute to :jail: for us?" as Bayouland  were disagreeing, but we are best :websleuther: buddies and I was skkeeeeeered that mods don't know the bonds we all have, and some didn't understand our banter and thought we were bashing each other. WE WERE NOT! :truce: :blowkiss: Anyhoo.........so glad the sidebar is BACK! Thanks Beach! And thanks my dear Bayouland for notifying us and getting us off email only and back to the "bar". Saddle up everyone! :seeya:

Hugs back atcha.

Conversations aren't very lively or interesting when everyone is on the exact same page, are they?

Anyhow......glad to have the sidebar back!

Did someone say band-aid?:fence:

FYI. I still have it on for in here:floorlaugh:

Looking at that food spread is making me sooooooo hungry, but I can't eat

....because....

(see photo above)

Anyone have a blender and a :please: real thin straw?

I just read one of the articles in the news thread regarding Cheney Mason and Jeff Ashton speaking at some event. The article states that the defense was prevented from cutting FCA's hair, which is why it grew so long? Wth is that about? Anyone know? That sounds hinky to the nth degree...I mean, are they saying Baez wanted to go in there and give her a haircut and wasn't allowed and they were scared that the prison barber would cut her throat? I jest, but only slightly. I just found that statement to be weirder than weird. Anyone got any insight?

[ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173603"]Pace U in NYC, May 31st @ 7:30 - Jeff Ashton / Chaney Mason - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame]

See thread. The conversation was about how the defense was deliberately making Casey look small, frail, dressed matronly, hair in a bun, etc. to the jury as a matter of strategy.

Rather than admit to any of the above, Cheney Mason said what you read in the news article, that Casey was not allowed to cut her hair, blah blah, blah. Whether that is true or not, I have no idea but we all know and observed the difference in the pre-verdict and post-verdict look. Right?

Hope this helps.

Right after the verdict, cm was on an interview and made the same claim. He is the only one I have heard this from. I do not find him credible do take it for what it's worth. He said they had a beautician that volunteered to come do her hair but it was not allowed. I bet it was jb that did not allow it just to make her look younger. CM never actually said it was the state or the jail that didn't allow it. Hmmmmmm.

Thinking back to when that guard was passing letters back and forth between cookie and muffin (insert eyeroll) - wasn't one of the things that also went on was FCA cutting cookie's hair and vice versa? How is it that male defendants come into court all cleaned up with short hair and shaved etc., and we are expected to believe Mason when he says it wasn't allowed?

It was probably just a whopper Baez told him and he never took the trouble to check it out.... :floorlaugh:

I thought she did have her hair cut a bit, when she came in with half of her sides lopped off and she kept fiddling with it, drove me crazy! Now, don't get mad, but from a pro. retired cosmetician/make-up tech pov., I thought she had very pretty hair, looked better long(except for the knothead, Mrs. Katzenjammer look) than what it is now. She ruined that too.:waitasec:

Just a heads up - our WS member Sandetoze attended the Pace U seminar and got to listen to the debate and speak to Jeff Ashton.

She has her first report installment over in the Pace thread. The first is good and I'm watching and waiting for more. Pics also.... :rocker:

Here is a really interesting article about Linda Drane-Burdick called "Iron Lady". It is in Orlando Home & Leisure. She has some interesting things to say or not-say about Jeff Ashton, his book, upcoming movie, and the trial in general. tells about her whole career. She is one classy lady if I do say so myself.

IMO, MOO, etc. Dont' know if this can go in news thread as it isn't MSM, --don't know what the mods here will allow these days.

Yes, just read the article (with thanks) that Mosby posted in Current News this morning - wonderful reading. And interesting to see the interplay between Linda and Jeff. Loved it and hope everyone will read it!:rocker:

:what: I guess there goes her big dream for any slight possible chance to dish it in an exclusive with B. Walters now.

Surprise, Surprise.

Just an FYI if you've missed it...Vinnie Politan will be on WS radio this Sunday. I know that Casey is old news, but I hope he will speak about the case. IMHO, he was also one of Caylee's heroes.
