Sleuthing Cindy's Depo & Baez Objections to Sealed Items

DNA Solves

Brain cells just fired on reading your post.

Remember for months the rumor who Caylee's father was ..... LE specifically had the FBI rule out any family members. But suppose KC was telling JB another nefarious story about Caylee's parentage.

Who do the pillow saliva and chewing gum belong to? GA and/or LA.
Why would articles apparently for DNA testing be needed in Aug 08. And if KC did tell JB where Caylee was, why would he need articles for DNA confirmation? Unless KC told JB CA murdered Caylee.

And are these the only pages or are there more with reference to this specific page?

Color me confused on this one.

As far as I've read the only person eliminated as the biological father is Lee. I have not read that anyone else (well, other than JG in the initial paternity test) has been eliminated.

I think the defense would prefer the father not be known...as long as they have proven that it isn't George or Lee..they are happy. How could it possibly help them?

The results of the dna testing JB had done were also included in that Fedex box weren't they? And we haven't seen them!! Is this what it's about? Were these results sealed? If not, why haven't we see them? The questioning of gathering the items to be tested might have made JB fear that the results would be the next question ~ or was that "top picture" a copy of the results? I dunno but it sure has to be somehow connected to the two lists!

No, Baez's DNA testing papers were included in a doc dump. I've got them around somewhere... will have to search.

That's why I wanted a database, so I could find docs easily! :)

I can think of ways it would be helpful. But at the same time we're talking about something the defense has obviously gotten sealed, so apparently they don't want it out.

22 H is the exhibit # for the two list that JB wanted sealed.

Ok, Item 22A-22H is hair from CA, KC and Caylee and R&L swabs from KC. It threw me off for a moment. Sorry about that. Still there are eight items. If I count right, if there are only two swabs and three hair samples what do the other three items consist of?

Have I confused myself even more, lol.

I'm lost in the same maze with you. I don't think anyone has much more than theories at this time. But I have faith that they'll finally get it figured out!!

I cannot wait to hear what TONY L. has to say about the phone call between him and Casey involving 14, 000.00 that Cindy overheard. Casey was going to make a run for it, I think that was her whole plan before getting busted, to ride off into the sunset with Tony. I am betting, Tony said He!! NO!
Hoping that anyway:)

Okay, okay. . . Wash cloth, tooth, straw and band aid were on the list we consider the "possible collection list for dna." JB might not realize Caylee was too young to lose a tooth ~ But certainly he couldn't hope that they would still have a used straw, wash cloth or band aid laying around the house from her!!! They might have been trying to collect dna from someone else without making that person aware that they were doing it? Does that make sense?

Ca told the SA in her depo what she sent. I'll look. Maybe the tape?

I swear I read that a straw is one of the things they actually did hand over for DNA testing. I swear I did. But pacifier, straw, comb, bib, tooth...that all sounds like baby things to me.

You're right. But wash cloth and band aid were off separately to the right side and listed alone (as opposed to the list that might be for baby).

And straw? Who would keep a dirty straw for how many months? A few of these things are just too weird to apply to Caylee's dna.

Could be a straw that was part of a water bottle set up or sippy cup type thing!:waitasec:

CZ,

The only thing CA mentioned in her depo is her hair and the toothbrush, blanket and pillow of Caylee's. I did not understand how those samples and the photo could both be labeled 22H.

I know children that have acrylic like extra long curly type straws. Not disposable. But I would think they would be washed, so no dna.

I'm 17 pages behind, but read the first few. Is the consensus still that the "sealed" thing that JB objected to was the fact that KC was taking pictures and JB was selling? Sealed notes from the in camera conference about how the defense is paid?

I may be way off but I initially thought maybe JB gave KC legal advice about if selling the items was legal (son of sam laws, etc.) - and so JB claimed in camera to the judge the pay arrangement was privileged. In that case the judge can require JB to disclose what the arrangement is, but both sides agree it doesn't waive privilege and will be inadmissible - sealing the order. In this case, JB wouldn't want CA to have any knowledge of this agreement because then it could waive privilege (cat's outta the bag sort of thing).

I may just be on privilege-issue overload after a deposition today.

I guess the band aid is the one on the list that makes me most suspicious. How could anyone expect the Anthony household to have one of Caylee's used band aids? How long had she been missing at this point?

I think Tony did talk about this conversation with KC. In an LE interview Tony said he talked to KC on the phone the morning of June 16 before she went to jail. He said he asked her why if she had almost $15K in the bank she used Amy's checks. He said KC told him she needed the money for a back-up plan.

Pages 18-19 http://www.cfnews13.com/uploadedFiles/Lazzaro,%20Anthony0728.pdf

Cindy's took the conversation she overheard and turned it into a conversation that made Tony sound more like the schemer with the "plan" or least least made Tony possibly "in on whatever KC did" (so he could be called the ringleader later).

Well, the chances they have in finding Caylee's bio dad are about as good as finding Zanny. (mental picture of KC on the Maury P show for 2nd & 3rd time with a new set of 5-6 potential donors) :waitasec:

Those really super loopdy-loop straws are a pain to wash, and you can never really be certain you got it really clean. You can try to spray water into it, but that always made a mess for me. Also, those plastic, bendy reusable straws from water bottles and kid's cups, as mentioned before, sometimes don't get washed well or are just rinsed and a lot of them have that little plastic bridge piece on the bottom of the lid, which may not get completely removed for cleaning. Gross, but people are gross sometimes...like, how many moms here haven't at one point or another sucked on a binky that fell on the ground, then gave it back to your baby? Blech. :)
