"This is my REAL daughter" re: her pix on FB page.."Kyron I don't know about any more" according to HLN just now.

eta..Older son was "kicked out" a few months ago.

Oh wow. Was this a comment that she actually wrote, or just an impression someone had?

Curious - Was it rumor way back when there was discussion that Kyron was supposed to have gone down to Roseburg the following weekend for his regular visit to his BM?

A neighbor of Desiree's (WS poster, who introduced herself as such) said it was Desiree's weekend to have Kyron in a post here.

Technically, that's probably a rumor. I can't find that info anywhere else, although I've tried.

I do believe life in the Horman home changed drastically after the baby was born. Kyron had basically been an only child, so with a new baby I'm sure he went through the same things that most kids do when a new sibling enters the family. Maybe he was more needy, maybe he was angry, maybe he was attention seeking, maybe he was competing with the baby for attention and affection, maybe SM felt that Kyron was taking away from "Her Baby"...who knows:waitasec: but I'll eat my keyboard if anyone other that SM is charged with Kyron's disappearance.

Eating a keyboard? Now this I have to see!

Not rumor so much as hearsay...someone who said they know the mother said that it was her weekend to have Kyron.

From day 1, there was something that rubbed me the wrong way about TH. I have refrained from commenting for a week now because the only thing that made sense was TH. I hope that I am wrong! Or that she didn't hurt him and that she just has him hidden somewhere.

All I can think of is Kyron's bio-mom standing there hugging TH and it makes me sick!

Per HLN pics on SM facebook of her daughter with the caption "That's my real Child" a pic of Kyron with the caption "Kyron...I just don't know anymore."
FWIW There are so many more but HLN only discussed these two.

IF you even HAVE a master's degree.

She also claimed to be a "reading specialist," but her license only showed "Basic Teaching," and blatantly said that she could not claim specialty on it.

reposting so people will let it sink in...

ooo, yes. I like "hearsay" better than rumor. That's more like it. IMO

You can post what they're saying on HLN, and discuss it. Sure.

Thanks BeanE. The thing I found interesting on the HLN report is the videos that were shown during the report over and over of the PC? SM had her arm around BM while sobbing. BM jsut stood there stiffly and non responsive, except for sobbing, to SM with her hands folded in front of her. The body language was really ODD. I had not seen this footage before.....very uncomfortable for BM, IMO.

all MOO and per <www.cnn.com/hln>

I wasn't going down with that angle. I was more thinking about a child with ADHD being hard to control at times with a long summer coming up.

I have not read anywhere that Kyron had ADHD, was hard to control or was the type to mistreat his sister. This to me is blaming the victim.

I don't know about the last sentence about the son being "kicked out," but the other two, yes.

Those who've used kgw.com for press conferences in the past: does the screen stay black until just a few moments before it starts or do I need another link?

Earlier today, all of the major news outlets -- Fox, AOL, People, etc. -- were using the WW article as a source for their stories. Here on WS, the WW article wasn't allowed to be discussed -- which is why there was a call for a story that independently verified what the WW had reported. Because the WW article wasn't being considered to be reliable just yet, on this board.

The rationale to not discuss the WW article right away makes sense; since this is a victim-friendly forum, letting the WW article be discussed might turn it into a SM-bashing free-for-all. And it ran the risk of creating more rumors.

In terms of what's said below: We can't verify it. We have to have trust that what the WW reported was the truth, as far as they knew it at the time they reported, that the journalist is credible. With so much misinformation flying around the case, I'm not surprised at the skepticism. Who knows which way is up at this point? Media has been hard to trust in this case.

I'm not sure why the tide changed this afternoon and the WW is allowable; perhaps the new LE questions are what did it.

Either way: This entire thing is sad, for all parties concerned. Nobody's a winner. There's only sorrow -- no matter what the outcome.

If it means anything, I know JP, and he has been a professional journalist for a long time. Though I am sure the Oregonian is pretty PO-ed to have been beaten to this headline by the WW, a weekly, it happens often. If JP says anonymous source, he indeed has a source. And its anonymous. For the record, I have not spoken to JP about this...

Well it's about damn time they're airing it!

According to HLN she actually wrote it..I'm guessing she had deleted it before Kyron disappeared but LE can retrieve anything from a puter..I'm surprised SM didn't realize that. :waitasec:

I immediately got the impression through TH's facebook that Kyron was her least favorite of the 3 children.
Her remarks of him etc on photos just made me think that ya know.
