First picture of missing Briton, 31, who 'fell overboard on ferry' | Daily Mail Online
Rem Kingston, 31, was last seen around 5am on Friday after boarding Balearia ferry Hypatia de Alejandria in Valencia with his mother.
He was reported missing when the vessel arrived in Majorca on Friday and a major air and sea search by the Spanish Coastguard has failed to find any trace of him.
However, his sister believes it is possible he could have hidden on the ferry, which travelled via Ibiza, and vanished on purpose.
But his sister Megan has flown to Spain as police in Majorca, Ibiza and Valencia continue to search for him on land.
She told local paper Majorca Daily Bulletin: 'Rem has mental health issues. He suffers from paranoia and sometimes gets scared of people.
'There is a possibility that he hid himself somewhere on the ferry and returned to Valencia, stopped and disembarked at the port of Ibiza or that he did come ashore here in Palma.
'It's just that my mother had lost sight of him.
The missing man, director of an Essex-based HR firm, has spent several summer seasons DJing in Ibiza and also says on an Internet biography he has been involved with online radio, pirate FM radio in Essex and London.
He has also performed at clubs in Cairns on Australia's North Eastern coast and in recent years has publicised himself as a photographer.
In May 2014 he was the subject of a missing persons' appeal by police in the Scottish Highlands.
Officers said at the time the car enthusiast was believed to be travelling in a blue Ford Mondeo, but later confirmed he had been found safe and well.
