This is so ridiculous. This mall is a stone's throw from my house. I do not believe that Stacy is hanging around Florence, KY. I guess that she is back from the Bahamas.

That's right. First she was "on vacation". Then it was "she left me". Funny, but no one's reported any men having gone missing from the general Chicago area...and yet somehow she's off and running with SOMEone.
What's so ridiculous about his statements about the "other man" is that we all know he could PRODUCE the other man if there were another man....DUH....he followed Stacy 24/7, tapped her phone, read her emails and text messages....how could he NOT know who the dude was? But yet....it's just so heartfelt...and vague...she...left me....for someone else...and that's all she wrote...and now I'll never get another date...

I saw a man with her and it looked like they were scoping out cars in the parking lot. what size telescope did they have? Or better yet, how close were you to see their eyes scoping??
I watched for sometime (what is your defination of sometime?) and it appeared they locked their keys in the car or so it seemed. (it appears or so it seemed? give me a break!) I took the opportunity wow, glad someone gave you an opportunity to do something........what prevented you earlier????? to rip the picture from the paper and bring it with me to them.

The press??? The 'evil' woman??? Those sound like words right out of DrewP's mouth. I guess he must be over his snit with Greta and on to someone else.
My question for the anonymous letter writer would be "If you saw a missing woman standing in a parking lot and wanted to confront her- why would you take time to "rip" her picture out of the paper?" Why not just take the whole paper to her?

I was thinking the same thing.........why rip the picture out, just take the entire page.
There's a lot wrong with that whole letter, but one of the more glaring things is the attack on Fox News. Knowing how both Brodsky and DP feel about Fox News - they're both afraid of them - that really stands out as a dead giveaway about the author or authors of the letter.
The reality is that if anyone saw Stacy Peterson alive and well anywhere, they'd be on the phone immediately to the police reporting what they saw.........not wait more than a month to snail mail a letter to DP. All they had to do is to contact their local police and have the local police call the ISP with the tip. If the person wanted to remain anonymous out of concern about the media, LE will respect that and not name the tipster.

Has there been any reason mentioned why it was mailed from Cinncinati, OH instead of KY? LOL
OK Seriously, it isn't worth discussing anymore, imo. Do we have a thread for it? I think we can all guess where the letter originated and why it came out at such a time.

I agree.......it isn't worth discussing anymore. I see this letter as an insult to the minds of the American public. If DP and Brodsky think the two letters will help their defense.........a good prosecutor is going to tear those letters apart and expose the motive for their existence.
But, with DP sending himself letters to try to build a defense in the disappearance of Stacy, he might get blindsided with an indictment for the murder of his third wife, Kathleen. Those letters won't help his defense there.

OK Back to where we can keep looking for Stacy on a serious level. We don't know where LE has actually searched other than what the media has reported or other searchers, but where else should they be looking? The weather hasn't been cooperating lately, but it is warmer.
I still like the idea of having a day set aside for people to check their own properties. Talk about covering a LOT of ground in a short time!
Someone mentioned checking the rooftops of buildings, but how about abandoned homes and buildings in the area. Would searchers have to obtain permission or would LE have to obtain warrants just to check?

I've been out 16 times now in different locations..
There's so many buildings in the industrial area's. A lot are restricted.

Restricted doesn't necessarily mean government owned. I assume permission would need to be given or a warrant issued to search private or corporate property.

Exactly. By now LE must have checked all their phone and email records and would know if stacy had been communicating with another man.
All of the industrial buildings around the canal are privately owned. Some have gates and some don't but just signs...with security guards that I had the pleasure of meeting and escorted out...:slap:
So you're saying to just go onto a restricted property to search without permission? That's a great way to get arrested for trespassing! :slap:
I'm about to sound pretty pessimistic here, but I really don't think they'll ever find her. I think DP was very smart and covered all of his bases. Not to mention that I've notice that interest in the case has waned here in the Southland. Not a lot of people are even talking about Stacy Peterson anymore. I've seen her flyer posted in a few bars in downtown Lockport, but that's about the extent of Stacy Peterson that I've seen in my area.
