Hoping for a Happy Hump Day, Good Morning all
I swore last week I would not watch anymore until Juan's closing, so of course here I am doing the countdown. I know, I will be beating my head against the wall within 5 minutes of court starting, but at least I will be sharing the moment with all of you.

Great point that I hadn't thought of. To answer your question, someone who lives there and doesn't risk getting caught because she's the only one home.

Ugh, I always forget you can't quote a quote. When I first read that the break in was in the middle of the afternoon, and jodi had "left" the house for only 2 hours and that's when the robbery occurred....C'mon!!!!! Her delusions that the jury will believe such a coincidence proves yet again how arrogant she is, and from day one I've felt her arrogance will be her downfall.

I think the "bad thing" that Jodi did to enrage Travis in that last email could have been telling him about the sex tape, which I believe she recorded without his permission to use as blackmail.

She may have even played it for a Bishop or someone in the church hierarchy, or perhaps just told them of it's existence and threatened Travis with playing it for them.

That sex tape seems so contrived in the beginning, when Travis is asking if we should just start talking normal and see what happens? like she specifically asked him to have phone sex and talk about some types of sexual fantasies and he wasn't really used to doing so and was unsure how to start.

She definitely seems to be 'pushing' the sex talk more than he was and I do not believe he wanted to her record that at all.

That could be how she 'scammed' him. That could be how she betrayed him.

The timeline sure fits, as things seemed to be escalating throughout the month of May.

I'm just speculating, but for Travis and his standing in the church and among his friends that tape would seem very damaging, especially if she used it to manipulate him.


I mean, what are the odds Jodi would use something like that to manipulate someone?

Probably already answered but, no. Grandpa's gun had a magazine with 7- .25 cal FMJ hollow points stolen with it. .25 cal bullets from parents weren't the same.........but I haven't seen the warrant inventory list that was from JA's parent's house.
It's too bad nobody knows where the .25 might have been fired previous to 6-2008, and maybe they could find an old casing or bullet and match the rifling, but it was an old .25.........

Was the round recovered from TA's body a FMJ?

It does seem there is definitely something, something very bad that he found out but I can't see it being that because, like JA's stupid story about him being one....who'd be intimate with someone they thought was a pedophile? I can see overlooking a lot of things about a person and still having sex with them, but not that, which is why her story is so ridiculous.

What woman (or man) would not only continue having sex with someone they thought was a pedophile, but even encourage it by playing along with the spiderman underwear and schoolgirl outfit. Her biggest mistake in this trial IMO. At least the most glaring lie of so many.

Yes, the most glaring! For some reason, it was the "finishing touches" she put on that lie that really did it for me. Namely, that seeing him with the picture made her so ill, she had to throw up. Not once, mind you, but a couple of times. You know that feeling of embarrassment that can come over you when you're just hearing a lie? When she said that, I had to look away!

The thought of trying to get across this country and into Nova Scotia has befuddled me. But I dearly want to go. Want to get a car and go up the Eastern Seafront and on ward to N S.

The only that has stopped me is that since my last trip near 9/11 I have never flown since. (Not for fear, but it's become so tedious, ect. ) Therefore I take Amtrack everywhere. The thought of trying to get across this country and into Nova Scotia has befuddled me. But I dearly want to go. Want to get a car and go up the Eastern Seafront and on ward to N S.

I always drive up, from here it's 42 continuous hours behind the wheel. I usually do it in one shot b/c once I get going I want to get it over with.

Watched the hearing with CH about the forged letters. JM didn't object straight away when KN said one was possibly authored by TA ... BUT then JM flushes the whole thing a minute later stating they were forged. Sidebar. Over.

I seriously doubt JM would have been able to keep them out if there was a chance in hell they were authentic. We all know how prejudicial evidence is kept out regarding the defendant but the sludge flows freely when it is meant to tarnish or discredit the victim. Sucks, but it's been true in this case.

Give Janine Driver a break lol girl is 6 months pregnant. I can see why as a body language expert it might APPEAR to her that JSS is leaning towards JA. It's likely more of an over-correction she is seeing because JSS has to be mindful of fairness and bias. JMO.

Thank you for heads up on Janine Driver. Janine avoided answering the question about JSS twice, then was "cornered" that 3rd time. Janine never said anything about Judge Stephens' body language that would support her reply. I think Janine gave a vague answer to support "JSS has to be mindful of fairness and bias".

If you get there, make sure to drive over to Cape Breton Island and drive the Cabot Trail. Breathtaking scenery!
