Jodi does appear to have a different nose, however the present nose is still big, and her nostrils are animal like...

just yesterday I commented that she had an ugly nose...my husband say's she is not pretty, period.

I know those giant spider hands give me nightmares...yesterday her knuckles were red...

she is morphing into A Yates before our eyes....

Hi cam :seeya:
I was just getting ready to ask the same question ! Also, how do they go about choosing who will be juror's and who will be alternates? Do they put their names in a hat...or a gas can :giggle: and draw them out?

Yes, it'll be random!

The ME’s statement in the autopsy report that the “dura mater” was in tact is understandable but technically in error. After cutting the skull and exposing the brain the pathologist's first view is the brain enclosed by the dura mater. At that stage of the autopsy the dura is indeed in tact. At this juncture the ME could comment about the presence or absence of a hemispheric subdural or epidural hematoma.

It is only after lifting the brain out of the calvarial vault can one see the injury to the under-surface of the right frontal lobe. Horn was correct in stating a bullet wound to the right forehead will of necessity cause dural injury at the point of bullet entry.
This technicality is a source of embarrassment but not fatal.
Conversely if the dura were totally categorically in tact the gunshot into TA head would have been miraculous. This means that the gunshot fragment would have entered the right frontal fossa, then glanced off of the right frontal dura, then passed parallel along the right frontal bone inner table, then curved around the right frontal lobe, then dived out of the skull near midline at the cribiform plate.

Finally I have argued since this case began in January that the ONLY valid medical expert testimony that goes to the question of the clinical effect of a gunshot wound to the forehead would be a trauma neurosurgeon. Pathologists do NOT treat or manage gunshot wounds to the head EVER. A pathologist really is in NO position to opine about the clinical effects of a gunshot wound to the brain since he does NOT treat or manage gunshot wounds to the head. Horn expressed the common knowledge that bullet fragments tend to tumble as they traverse brain substance and cause concussive shock waves that ripple out and away from the bullet track. It is the neurosurgeon who deals with all sorts of gunshot wounds to the head that wind up being nonfatal.

BBM. and the DT was free to call a neurosurgeon and did not. that tells me everything i need to know.

I'm curious as to what you all think Jodi's reaction will be when they read the verdict. I remember Scott Peterson just sitting there stone faced. Very telling. If I were wrongly convicted of 1st degree murder I'd be hysterical.

I'm kind of expecting Jodi to have the same reaction - she won't want to give the jury the satisfaction of breaking down in front of them. Or will she?

I'm leaning toward her sitting there with no expression on her face, then glaring at the jury as they leave.

There will be none. She'll put a Scott.

a few O/T's since we are in Limbo...

It seems Lindsay Lohan may have bailed on rehab...

It is 60 degrees in MAY here in Sc

And As I was speed cleaning the Living Room and Office Mr Red said *I know what you are doing* I was all innocent like and he said *You can speed clean all you want but don't forget you told me to remind you that you need to clean out the playroom today for donations to the yard sale for the community food bank*.
GRRR. TODAY of all days he remembers something. HE IS ABUSING ME. HE KNOWS I HAVE UBER IMPORTANT TRIAL WATCHING TO DO. meaniepoopiehead.

I do not like the fact that defense lied.......I'm sorry, exaggerated. I'm really surprised that Dr. G did not say that Jodi wasn't lying, she was embellishing her story. I mean, really, what difference does it make if it was a tiger, a bear or a gopher? Or was it "I didn't do it and was no where near AZ", "two ninjas broke in", or lastly "I did it but it was to save the world from this awful vile person?" To me it's lying. And it's obvious that when Nurmi and Dr. Samuels eventually persuaded Jodi to "tell the truth" it was put to her that this was way more defensible than her ninja story and the truth had nothing to do with her changing to her present story.

That is Jodi lying not them. They have to take what their client says and do the best with it. That is their role. They need to fight for them based on what they are told by their client.

She deserves a defense. And they did the best they could with what they had to work with.

Does NG have a new hair color as well as a new style?
What color is that...I like it.

Those numbers speak VOLUMES to me. JM did his job, and did it WELL!!

So anxious for today.

:bdscroll: :cupcake:to all the bday girls and boys! Im still praying for a verdict on Monday (my birthday :cupcake:). Im taking the day off and will sit by my phone/computer/tv hoping they have a verdict. If they do, I am going to drink by myself that day!!! Hubs will be at work and the kids at school.... looking forward to it. :great:

Anyone know if the recent Amanda Knox interview is online?

Also, just noticed last night, does Jodi have a nose job? Sure looks different even from her first photos with Travis.

Yes, she had a curvy nose with a slightly protruding center. It went nicely with her face. Now she has a flat plug-like nose with both nostrils on the same plane. It's pretty obvious because she took so many closeups of herself.

Speaking of that, I'm a typical family photographer and my album has almost no pictures of me at all because I'm the one taking the pictures. Think of the time she took to set up a tripod, get the settings right, compose the picture for all the hundreds of photos of herself she took.

Now that's love.

Regarding the sentence. There should be removal of hair and withdrawal of makeup. The death penalty won't matter much because miss thang can't imagine a universe without her in it. Her suffering due to lack of makeup and hair products will be so acute, she will beg for the state to kill her.

But we who know what she did and how she enjoys it to this very day, we will have the comfort of knowing someone like this does not exist. She owes us that for what she's dragged Travis through and the time and money she has cost society.

This is a terrible confession, but I will make it. I have spent the last few months seriously hoping I would get to see exactly how effective Jodi's stun belt is...:floorlaugh:

There is still a chance. When she is found guilty !!!

what i want to know is how mizz thang managed to sit in a chair and hold her head up since court went well past her absolute 'drop dead' cutoff time of 4:30 pm. how?

Ensure? :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

She will be out of control. I hope JW has a guard between them.

Her entire face has changed since her mug shot (features are much sharper now) and her pre-arrrest photos. She was much fuller in the face compared to how she looks today. I'd attribute the change to weight loss, not cosmetic surgery.
Weight loss, prison pallor, worry, no access to good facial/hair products, not enough life moments of joy...she looks terrible, her hair is turning gray in the front.

Did the jurors get fed at all yesterday evening? I would be so pizzzzed if I had to sit in court for 12 hours of brain muddling boring testimony AND had to work until 8pm. If they didn't get food for their troubles.... oh mang....

I am sure they did. And I am sure there is always snacks in the jury room. (I am basing this on the 3 juries I served on)

TEARS, Fake tears but tears and shaking her head telling them they made a mistake... She will put on a show. I am betting on it.

Jodi is saving her knockout performance for the verdict :dramaqueen:

Do you have any ideas what all that might entail ?

I just keep seeing this angry, mumbling person staring down every juror and giving JM the old middle finger salute. Perhaps she'll just cry and faint away into the fog.

THIS IS NOT THE AMANDA KNOX THREAD

Can we please keep to the topic and Amanda Knox to her own thread?

Thank you...
